I never write reviews after online purchases, until today.  I felt compelled to share my experience…read moreregarding Big Apple Fence because it was that good.  When my wife and I decided to have a protective fence installed in front of our house, I didn't really know where to start.  For days, I diligently searched for fence installers and General Contractors. I checked reviews, as well as the prospective business's experience, complaints, photo gallery of past jobs, and ultimately I also shopped prices. From the very first conversation that I had with Omar, the owner, I got a really good feeling about possibly dealing with him.  He and KenRoy, who actually installed the fence, are warm, personable, authentic, and very professional people. You'll never feel patronized or talked down to.  You don't have to like the people you do business with, but it's nice when things work out that way. Their honesty, the easy, open conversations we shared with them, and their obvious expertise instilled in me the confidence I was hoping to find in them.  Although it may seem like good etiquette from a different era, these guys actually return calls, complete work on time, and aren't snarly people who hate their jobs. Omar graciously customized our order.  KenRoy was punctual and did a very professional and complete job.  Not only are these two men good at what they do, but they're also genuinely interested in ensuring that the customer is happy with the fence and installation. It's rare to find contractors who take pride in their work.  Unlike most Contractors, KenRoy was very open to our suggestions and tended to every detail. Ultimately, we got a really good-looking fence and gate for our front yard that was installed professionally, was completed on time, and at a better price than anyone else we called.  Omar was true to his word.  Apple Fence started, completed, and did a great job for the price he promised. Although our job was smaller than some of the larger jobs they do, we never felt we weren't treated as valued customers. We give Big Apple Fence 5 stars. Easily. This experience was what every homeowner hopes for: a seamless, stress-free experience.  Big Apple Fence:  Professional, quality work at a reasonable price. These two men are a credit to their business and truly deserve the accolades because our experience was excellent.  I highly recommend Big Apple Fence.

So when I meet someone like Luis, it seems all the more incredible. After being ghosted, gouged, ignored and subjected to amateur work, Yorktown Painting Home Improvement is a d*amned miracle. Luis is polite and professional, called us back and showed up when he said he would for an initial walkthrough. That in and of itself is impressive, given our experience with local contractors. His bid was more than fair (it was half of our highest bid) and his crew was able to start the project quickly. Here's where it seems too good to be true- they showed up every morning early, worked until dark, left the job site neat and organized, and finished the job ahead of schedule. They did Sheetrock installation and repair, a bit of framing and painted walls, ceilings, closet doors and trim for us in our great room and a spare room conversion, and it all looks incredible. The attention to detail is clear, and we still can't believe they did so much so well in such a short period of time. I was blown away by our experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Luis. He'll be our first call for any home improvements going forward. Look at the Google reviews- 30 or more, every single one five stars.
