Unfortunately the shop is very small and more than 2 people makes it feel crowded. They have a lot of unusual wedding and christening gift ideas. They carry a lovely range of hand made and unsual cards and wrapping paper and it could very easily be described as Shabby Chic and I love it. It is quite well tucked away, but worth looking out for. A lot of their sotck can be personalised to order, with a speedy turn round time.

The shop itself is quite dark which is quite a contrast to other shops which try and go for a bright and airy look. But I feel the darkness of the shop compliments the crystal as they have lights carefully positioned to give the best effect. The staff have always been helpful in this shop - even when we know about new releases before them (that got embarassing when we asked if they had a 'naughty Raymond' in!!!). I like this shop and even though it is expensive they make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase.

I have had many a bargain from here and have found the prices to be really excellent. I like the fact they have a fast turnover of books, I tend to buy from them, read them and then return them so they can resell. So it is good that I am not going back just to look at the same ones over again. It is also good for little ones clothes and they seem to weed out the seedier stuff that some other charity shops leave in eg. stuff with stains on.

Regrettably I cannot say the same for visiting during the week you need to be there a good half an hour before official closing time as for some reason the community shop closes early for no reason. The staff during the week are not so pleasant. In fact the man is quite rude!! Dont let that put you off great charity shop. Great at the weekends two out of three is not bad.

The first time i went into this shop i thought nothing of it but on the second visit i was sold various out of date items including a bottle of wine . I mentioned this when i visited later in the week and was met with a blank stare..I didnt come in to return items i just thought they might want to know a few products out of date. No care whatsoever and no apology. I was a bit saddened by this because this ia essentially my local, but i still continued to buy here but ive started to.notice the young guy serving me (glasses) always stared at my hand when putting my pin number in the machine (which strangely i never have to do with the other guy working there , contactless always works)...Overall, the guy is dodgy , the stock is often out of date, no apologies given, stare at your fingers putting pin number in and at camara....It MIGHT just be enough now for me not to return.

It offers a wide range of daily newspapers and magazines, as well as crisps and chocolate bars. There's a lottery point as well so you can put your numbers on and if you partake in that naughty habit (smoking) then you can get your fix here too! There's a post office towards the back of the store, and a selection of stationary including greeting cards to buy - so it really is your one stop shop for your snail mail communication needs! The staff are polite and friendly and there not 1 but 2 handy car parks near by, so if you're driving to pick up your Sunday paper - not a problem!

I've visited this store many times and have only ever once come across a negative member of staff, every other time staff are knowledgeable, and clearly happy to assist. There is a cafe and an enclosed children's play area although I have not used those facilities. A fantastic everything-under-one roof for baby store!
