The produce was well organized, and there were several employees restocking the shelves as we shopped. For this week, I wanted to get ingredients to make California rolls, Banh Mi, Beef Pho, Spring Rolls, and Hot Pot, and was able to find all of the ingredients I needed here except for the French baguette for the banh mi. However, since it's right across the street from an HEB, it wasn't a major inconvenience. We also picked up some pantry items like snacks, tea, and instant ramen, and they had a really good selection of items to choose from. Overall, I'm happy to have anotrrrhueuoyroyoutoutoor Asian grocery store in the Katy area to choose from, and the prices are comparable to 99 Ranch and Hmart. Since they recently opened, the store is not super crowded right now either so it's a great spot to do some weekend shopping for the time being!

Raw meat packaged here seems to last longer than other markets. Sandwiches made on the spot. Good for lunchtime. I remember I used to go for this during lunchtime from my hometown. What I don't see from Spouts anymore, or any Sprouts are the self serve hot soups. When it comes to produce and veggies, these cost a little more or sometimes the same price as HEB. But Sprouts' interior design looks much better than HEB.

I like the white (queso para quesadillas) cheese to slice up and make quesadillas on the grill. Don't be confused by the overwhelming selection of tortillas, because you'll wanna grab the bag of unmarked flour tortillas up toward the front door/cashier. For fresh salsa, ask the ladies behind the hot food counter for their 3 different types of salsas: green, red, and molcajete. There are 3 different sizes to choose from: sizes 1,2,3 (small-med-large). I love this place, for the authenticity and amazing price. I don't think I can buy the same amount of marinated meats (like 8 lbs) and hunk of cheese and fresh tortillas (with lard too, I think. yum), for under $60.
