Jessica Whitley. I…read morejust had the most humiliating experience with this photographer. I never thought I would be scolded and shamed for my technophobia, but this is exactly what happened. She was recommended to me by a friend who didn't really know her but it was the only photographer she knew of. I called and left messages for about a week without response. I need photographs for work so I need them as soon as possible. Finally we talked on the phone and she said she was booked way into the future. I didn't know what to do. I really needed them sooner. She said she'd try to fit me in and said she would email me her "packages." I still had a little more to do to get my teaching certificate so I did not make a decision on her, for or against. A couple of days later I called her back to check if any slots had opened up. No response. I left messages and texts. Finally I figured I'd at least check out her prices and packages so I went to my email. Now, I have always had difficulty remembering to check my email. But since texting has become so popular, hardly anybody ever emails me anymore, so I just never check my email unless someone calls me and tells me, "check your email now for xyz." But no one ever does that. Just spammers. So I check her prices, which are fine, and I happen to email her mentioning that email is not a good way to communicate with me. Especially when I call and text someone, and they reply not with calling or texting, but they answer my call with an email. This is very confusing. Why would someone answer a phone call message via email? No one would expect to check their email for a response to a phone message they left. But this is what she did. I did not tell her she absolutely could not email me. I merely stated that it was not THE way to communicate with me IF she really wanted to communicate with me. So she fires back a scolding and abusive message saying she has a HARD POLICY that she just does not work with people who don't do things HER way. If a person is not comfortable with something as small as email, it doesn't matter, it's her way or the highway. THIS IS JESSICA WHITLEY. So before you trust this woman with being present during the most cherished and sensitive times in your life ( weddings, graduations, anniversaries, batmitzvahs, quinceneras...) ask yourself, Do you want a photographer present that might suddenly experience "deal breakers" (her words not mine) in the middle of a shoot and walk off the job over some fantasy in her head of her own corporate policy, based on her hatred of older people who have trouble with certain technologies, or maybe she just doesn't like gay people, who knows?

Their business is tricking people…read more That $20 promo turns into their first offering of a $500 package. Then as you are forced to remove poses, they slowly lower the price. We dropped 95.2% of the 63 photos taken, to end up with SIX lonely pictures - BUT we were going to also get a disk and we could print more later..... that's what they don't tell you. Six pictures for about 6 times what we expected to be spending today. Six pictures was the minimum amount of photos to receive a disk with photos that we were told we could use as we like. So, we did not continue to get rid of any more pictures - however - the disk is useless. The disk is such low-quality resolution prints that they are only good to view on a mobile device. ---- This is aggravating. Terrible customer service, but the pictures were much better than expected. I called corporate to try to get what we had been sold - high-resolution photos - and they said that the photographer was wrong. Instead of offering to fix anything, the customer service rep just immediately said that she would issue a complaint against the photographer for not following protocol. I asked about a promotion on their corporate webpage that says "high resolution with copyright release" - she said it looks like you didn't get that one. Customer service said I could return the prints and the useless disk that we paid for and get a store credit. So disappointed with this experience. Now I can either accept paying $130 for a few prints of six photos or return everything for a store credit and go through the hassle again.
