My partner had an obsession with this shop for a while as it is so easy to get a great unique gift for anyone in here. First he bought me a georgeous picture of a beach and dolphin scene with waves crashing. Not only was it a picture but it also has a light box behind the pic to light up all the right spots, plus it has sound! It actually plays beach sounds of waves crashing, seagull and dolphin noises. It's georgeous. Next birthday, I got another print. This one looked like a normal print in a wooden frame but then I actually looked at the picture. It is the most unbelievable 3D picture which looks amazing. I get so many comments on it when people come over to our house. Definitely recommend checking this one out, especially if you need a gift for someone or want something unique to hang on your own walls even.

So I basically had to do two reviews. They are sharing a tenancy and providing a more complete solution to encourage more people to go there. Whatever works I guess. Everyday Living is obviously the furniture side of the store. They have some beautiful buffets especially. I love buffets. However I have never owned one, needed one or wanted one particularly but they look lovely. The thing I really liked about this place is most of their dining suites came in two sizes and with either 6 or 8 chairs. I was recently looking specifically for ones with 8 chairs and they are not that easy to find a good range. But this place seemed to have lots of special offers on the same pieces with either 4 or 6 chairs, or 6 or 8 chairs, or different length tables. Price wasn't bad on them either but it was a big stocktake sale at the time so not sure they would all be that cheap all the time, however it does give you a good idea that their specials would always be pretty worthwhile. They have some great specials and having the beds/mattresses under the same store roof means when they have bonus deals you get them when you purchase anything from either store as a combined amount.

I have received gift vouchers from here and they are presented so beautifully it is hard to open the little envelope to hand it over and make a purchase. Purchases are wrapped in pretty tissue paper if it is a gift and the staff always remember to remove the price tag for you. I love this haven so much that I often pop in just for a browse in my lunch break if I need cheering up and sometimes I treat myself to just a little something, prices range from under $10 to in the hundreds depending on the item. This is also one of the few remaining places that happily offer lay-buy too.

Pink Tulip caught my eye while walking down the main street. A gorgeous little set up of succulents, vertical gardens, poppies and a vintage bike sat out the front. I had to investigate! The store is abundant in colour of many different varieties of flowers and home décor. The smell as you walked in the store was sweet and fresh. There are a wide variety of bits and pieces for your home available here. If you are looking for candles and scented sticks, there are some really lovely choices here. You will also find some vases, soaps, clothing, terrariums and plant boxes. It seems that the moment rope plant hangers (I think they started in the 70s?) are quite popular for home décor. If you are on a search for one, there are a few varieties here. The storeowner is very friendly and proud of her store. If you are after a bunch of flowers, be sure to have a chat to her if you are wanting a particular arrangement. Her designs are quite beautiful!

The selection of outdoor cane furniture is modern and classy, from larger pieces of furniture to odd items such as free standing cage swings that I could imagine whiling away an afternoon in. I also loved the crazy, colourful tin animals out the front that draw you in to this shop. I liked most of the pieces in Lavish and I especially liked the wall decorations which were like no other ones I had seen around. They also had a good display of beautiful chunky modern jewellery that didn't look mass produced. When we were looking through, there was no one around to help out, not that we needed assistance. Once we got to the back of the shop we found someone working in a side office running a parallel business who eventually spoke to us: They are obviously very trustworthy in these parts.

They have a delivery service if you don't have transport to pick up larger items yourself that you may purchase. There is an additional fee for this but it's about the same as it would cost you if you had to hire a trailer yourself and this way, someone else does most of the heavy lifting. In addition they have these great package deals. Like a whole bedroom suite for between $1000-$1300. And not ugly cheap looking ones either (although they are cheap, they are not ugly, just to clarify). They do have interest free finance available too if you need that. I find I can get a better discount with cash so would rather save first but I know that sometimes this is near impossible. Their catalogue is available online as well if you to just see what they stock before you go there. Have a look through the store, once you work out what you want don't forget to haggle, haggle, haggle before you pay!
