The store & bathrooms were so nice & clean, they even have an inside dining area & an outside dining area. The Best thing is, they have a fried chicken bistro inside called "EATS" that is Amazeballs. Sir Hubbers & I luv us some fried chicken. "Publix" fried chicken can't be beat, however, the fried chicken here is just as Amazeballs. You can tell that the ladies that work here are proud of their chicken fry by the way they talk about it. Smiles all around. Very friendly engaging staff. Excellent Service, Excellent Grocery, Excellent Fried Chicken. A new fave stop. Highest Recommendations.

The prices are a little higher than dollar general, Not terrible considering the economy and our area. The clerks and other staff are always cordial and friendly. I have visited this quaint corner store and gas station several times over the last few years. When…read morewe come to visit family that live in Chiefland, we find ourselves stopping here to the boat up with gas on the way to the river. Crossroads is located in the intersection of NW 60th and 345. It is a gas station and corner store in the middle of farmland and houses. It is not huge, but definitely has what you need to keep your journey going. Our visit this time was on a Monday morning in July. There were actually quite a bit of people there when we stopped! Typically, there is always someone else there either getting gas or patronizing the store when I am there. On this trip, we stopped before going out on the boat for the day to get a few snacks. It was really my first ever time inside. I thought the selection was great for a store of that size. They had some hot options, and then typical gas station candy, chips, bakery items, and drinks. They sell alcohol here, along with some various car and household items (those you would typically find at a gas station), lottery, and tobacco products. As far as prices, I think they are fair for both the fuel and the store items. It is a convenience store, so things are going to be somewhat more than say a Walmart, but their prices here are nothing crazy. This store seems like it is needed within the community, and I am glad it is there. As I said, it is right on our way to the rive for when we take the boat, and a much more convenient place to fuel up as opposed to having to drive into town. I would recommend stopping if you are in the area. A great way to support a local business also!

It's small, it's old, it's a little rough around the edges -- and that's exactly why I love it. Reminds me of the bars back in my hometown where everyone knows your name (or just calls you "bud"). Great service, zero pretension. Just come as you are and enjoy the kind of place that's getting harder to find these days.
