See self confessed illegal reviews written by HR staff working at MAN Commercial head office in Solihull first before you judge my review. I am a mature student & was at the recent Boomtown Festival with my girl friends. The security guards covering some of the entrance positions employed by MAN Commercial Protection was awful. Too aggressive & Untrained, searches were very invasive over the top which made the atmosphere feel hostile and not enjoyable. They ended up frightening customers away instead of welcoming them. It was also clear that certain individuals were smoking cannabis which was ignored by MAN security. As soon as all my friends started putting negative reviews on Google live at the event we was met with further abuse from security who informed the manager. A few days later after the event we noticed lots of positive 5 star reviews had appeared which was all in house coming from people who work for them. We photographed these fraudulent reviews & uploaded them for potential customers to see. If your using this company to supply your security needs you may want to urgently rethink your decision and cancel any involvement. They have already in 2024/25 lost several big contracts recently due to bad management, thuggish behaviour & making false representations by fabricating Google reviews. Trying to manipulate & make the company look better than it is writing false statements that are not true in order to win more business is called fraudulent activity. Having read many other reviews it would seem this company already has a bad reputation for bullying & intimidating members of the public at gigs. They are obviously only employing bad tempered meat heads & knuckle draggers who are all looking for a fight. MAN Commercial is a high risk investment that you should avoid if possible. Please be advised to always do your research first. Look at alternative security companies as going cheap normally means the service they are providing is rubbish & you will end up paying double to put matters right. Company needs to be held accountable for abusing its position writing lots of fake reviews on Glassdoor Jobs recruitment, Indeed Jobs, between 7th - 10th August 2024 and prior to that on Google my business which has a fake score of 4.3 mainly written by a certain group of people by looking at the names. These false reviews will not surprise anyone who knows how corrupt MAN Commercial already are. I have recently put a genuine 1 star review on Glassdoor Jobs stating some true facts about how this company has NEVER done any job performance appraisals for staff and that progression even after many years service is non existent. The following day after my review went live to highlight my experiences someone from MAN Commercial Protection Head Office thought it was a good idea to write SEVEN almost identical word for word roughly 8 lines per fake 5 star reviews all on the same day. I had monitored MAN Commercials previous history and how often they replied to reviews on Glassdoor Jobs. Over past several years only 72 reviews showing with no regular internet traffic or visits from MAN or recent replies to any other posts, but then suddenly a big jump to 79! and scores from 2.2 - 2.9 with immediate favourable responses to all 7 fake reviews saying we are delighted you feel this way about our company!! Those reviews could well be the downfall of this company's future because they are fraudulent, misleading and was deliberately written NOT spontaneous, but with the intentions of deceiving employees and potential clients. Made up nonsense coming from the amateurish staff they employ at head office. It's reckless cheating behaviour and serious abuse of power to be doing this type of malpractice 24/7. Company was warned on numerous occasions that it was being monitored, but out of pure desperation they decided to ignore this advice and take a chance, but now we have all this incriminating evidence. They made some big mistakes as you will clearly see putting those bogus reviews together. I guarantee whoever wrote them will be thrown under the bus and unlikely to be working for MAN Commercial for much longer. Unless of course it's someone from senior management who will by now panic and be thinking who to blame! If you're that cocky and arrogant you deserve to be named and shamed and have this scandal exposed all over the internet. The owners at MAN Commercial must think we are all thick and worried about someone who is a plastic gangster. All respect for this company was lost many years ago after I learned about their obnoxious behaviour towards staff and how they will set you up to fail if they dont like you. read more

Awful service provider. Would not recommend them, staff are seriously neglected and can work for months without a site visit. They do not care and are just happy for you to turn up. Pay is atrocious and only positive thing is minimum wage increase from government. Avoid them if you can. read more

Messing with your head telling lies about office staff been on annual leave to avoid you. Then we get another family member to call them on different number and guess what that person has been at work all week! So its not hard to work out that this company is corrupt to the bone and don't do things by the book abusing employment laws. The only thing that matters to them is making profit, not looking after the welfare of its staff. To the average person they seem ok, but they have sacked a lot of nice people for not much good reason, so you can't trust them. Overall the SIA courses they run are rubbish. If you see through the guru brainwashing BS coming from the CEO and his macho side kick Dene who thinks he is Rambo. Acting like some sort of action hero on the self-defence course. No doubt he thought he was the dog's wotsits. I really do believe the course is expensive and cheaper options not good value for money. The administration at the end of the course is slow and clumsy way too focused on getting the next course in and money motivated to rush it through. Research all other options first as there are much cheaper just as good security trainers out there. read more

Not the type of security company that I would recommend. Sites are mainly run down with just about the bare essentials to get you through your shift. They are paying way below what the guards are worth and the management all think that they are joined to the mafia and can do what they like. It's one of those companies that's best suited for if your desperate with no other employment options. In the past this company has had their fair share of times reported to government organisations for breaches with employment laws. So mind how you go if your foolish enough to get a job interview with them. read more

Everytime I visited BSM car dealership storage unit to pick up paper work to diliver one of its cars the security guard is always asleep. When I knocked the door to pick up the keys the lights are always off and the heater is blasting away on full capacity. No wonder they had so many robberies with such lazy useless guards on duty supplied by Man commercial protection. I have warned other drivers to be aware when collecting cars early hours of the morning. read more

A friend of mine did warn me about using MAN Commercial,but I still have them a chance , and now I am regretting it ,so please take my advice and think it through first before you rush into any involvement with them or contracts that you can't get out of for several years. read more

Deplorable and unprofessional joke of a company. Unfortunately our experiences with MAN Commercial Protection sadly fell short of what is expected coming from a so called professional company. We are very disappointed and would like to warn others about the sloppy services we had endured. Whenever we had any issues MAN Commercials HR became difficult and awkward ignoring our concerns at their Head Office. Twice they put the phone down on us after speaking to us in a very rude manner in denial. We was sympathetic towards them but they still refused to accept our complaints about the bad behavior of their security guards. I've had nothing but trouble working for MAN. They have caused me untold stress having to chase them constantly for money that they owed me. I would not be able to say this is a good company or refer them as a satisfactory reliable firm after experiencing so many negative things. Unfortunately they have left a very negative impression on me and this reflects how I feel about them. read more
