I have made some great ffriends and I love the fact that if I want to do something this weekend I have 100+ women to organise an event with! Though there are over 100 members of the group, there are only ever up to 20 on a night out, most of the time less than that. This is less daunting and makes it easier for new members to feel at home. When you become a member you can organise events yourself or just go along the ones organised by others, but you do not need to go to everything!

Those running the organisation are approachable and very helpful. They offer good support when there are forms to be completed and are very efficient in dealing with enquiries for both optical and dental claims. The Odd Fellows committee organises several social activities throughout the year ranging from local outings to trips further afield. Members' meetings are held at different venues and are also usually followed by a social event, for example-a fish supper.

The bar staff are nice and happy to chat, the beer's cheap and the surroundings are nice enough for what it is. They do rolls and sarnies at lunchtime which is about it, but then, if you want a meal you go to a restaurant right? Cheap beer, nice people, comfy seats, what more can you ask for?

This building offers lots of activities to both members and their friends. It can be a very busy…read moreplace but also offers the opportunity to have a quiet and intimate drink and a chat. There is a very large car park which is easily accessible from the main road. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar staff offer a very efficient service. The building is inviting and clean and well set out with various leisure activities readily available to both members and their guests. The committee works extremely hard to organise functions that are open to the public and members alike.
