Visited this place last night after arriving in Plaza Mayor. At first glance, I was quite impressed. The decor was on point. The atmosphere seemed great. Then the service happened. OMG! How can you ignore a patron that much. We honestly thought the server just disliked us. And, before anyone assumes the "they hate Americans" excuse, we're all fluent in Spanish. There was no communication issue. Finally, we ordered. They brought bread. Stale bread. Then the server poured the oil, but in two dips, it was gone there was so little. Couldn't get salt and pepper for the oil. Drinks were great tasting, but took forever to receive. The food comes. Worst paella I have ever eaten. I was starving, so I did, but it was just terrible. I would never write a bad review about a restaurant unless I felt like other tourists needed to beware. Horrible and rude service from the waitress (not surprised because the management gave me the exact same impression). Waiter didn't know anything about the menu and gave me attitude when I wasn't sure what certain things meant and asked her for more information. Don't go here. You could FOR SURE get better service and food from somewhere else in Leon. read more
