Uh, they fry stuff, and they're good at it. Your run of the mill fast-casual fry joint, if a fried food mood catches your fancy. I had the shrimp basket, which hit the spot. They also offered some HUGE slices of cake which were calorically dense, in a delicious kind of way. Open until 2 am for late night study sessions. If you happen to have a heart attack, it's a good thing the best hospital in the universe is right across the street.

Yeah this lady is really rude bad customer service

Good food . The lady cashier had bad customer service ! Food expensive but it's pretty good . Get the customer service up and it'll be 5 star .

24 times and no answer.

Quality wise great. But don't call to order food. Felt like I was trying to reach me ex. 24 times and no answer. Did they file an ex parte? Good grief.

Egg and cheese breakfast sandwich.

The fries/chips were good, but there were so few in the basket I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to use some in my basket for another order. The fish was so over fried it was almost dry and had completely pulled away from the overly-battered coating. The slaw was the same slaw in a tiny cup you would get at any fast food or chain restaurant. The calamari was not overcooked, but had a strange taste that may have come from the incredible amount of oil they were sitting in. If the review was just based on my food, a solid 2*, but my friend got the salmon, and it looked pretty good and she liked it. Tip: don't order anything fried except the French fries.

Nice lemony, slightly spicy flavor. It came with a big side order of fries, some cole slaw, and a salad. It was "market price" and tonight was $40, which was very fair considering the quantity and quality of crabmeat. The waitress was super-friendly and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere, standard pub vibe. I wish we were staying in Baltimore longer so we could get back here; we had a really nice time.

The first thing you see is the bar. I went to the left and sat down at one of the tables. After a couple minutes a lady gives me a menu. After about a couple minutes I decided to go with wings and a burger. Only problem was, my server was busy serving about 6 different people at the bar. Finally after about 10 minutes I was able to order. I get my food 20 minutes later. I don't understand why it took so long when everybody just had drinks and I was the only one seated in the restaurant part. The wings(6 for $15) were just ok. I got honey old bay flavor. The flavor itself was good but the wings were not cooked all the way for the middle part was lukewarm. The Charm Cheeseburger($20) a half pound beef patty, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, on a brioche bun. I wanted bacon added which was 2 dollars more per the menu. The burger itself was actually decent and it comes with potato wedges. They forgot to put the bacon in there but I didnt want to wait for the server to let her know and then wait again just for bacon. At least they didnt charge me for it. Service, or lack there of was atrocious. Every period in between interactions took a long time. In closing, I spent 35 bucks plus tax and tip for bad service and overpriced mediocre food. My co worker had drinks here one night and told me it was way overpriced. If you want good food and/or drinks then go next door to the Water Street Tavern. Their food and service is great there. So absolutely horrible that I disputed the credit card charge…read more I have NEVER EVER done anything like this at any other point in my life. I can only remember it because of how awful the food tasted and how terribly prepared it was-I have never had food this bad in my whole life. It was about 2 years ago that i went, but I can picture the........meal, I guess we can call it.... that was placed in front of my face like it was yesterday. A steak. Simple, right? Nope. Not simple, not well made, not well cooked, not even the right cut. I ordered the Delmonico- I suppose the cut could be argued, so I won't even count that in leading to my disappointment. What came to my table resembled more of a Hungry Man Dinner Salisbury Steak, and it had hunks of raw fat in it, and it was covered in this awful brown, salty, peppercorn sludge-excuse me while i go vomit. My husband ordered the lamb chops-bad move. They tasted like they sat in their own blood for days-gamey, raw in the middle (again), and tough like shoe leather. Raw, and tough....? Weird, but true. Now, my husband and I both like our steak/lamb cooked medium rare to rare, but this really was raw. I'm also a HUGE fan of carpaccio, and tartare-but this meat was really disgusting-completely inedible. Oh yeah- I believe we were told by the wait staff that the restaurant was for people with "an aquired palate". Um.......a palate for shit? That was actually pretty amusing, and at this point I realized I was not fighting about the food I had ordered with anyone. Our entire meals were sent back, our bill was paid, and then it was deducted off of my credit card. Xanadu, by definition, is a place of great beauty, luxury, and contentment. Yeah. Not so much.

Went here for restaurant week. Nothing blew me away yet I enjoyed the food. There was no wow factor…read morebut the squash soup stood out as a winner along with the tasty gnocchi. Had reservations but upon getting there and peeking through the glass doors I realized it wasn't entirely necessary as there was only one other couple eating dinner. The chic Asian styling coupled with the diner booths down the middle of the restaurant area provides an interesting contrast to one another. There is just something off with having neon spirals lit up on the walls with porcelain Buddhas and other deities staring at you while you eat in a booth. The place filled up half the dining area by the time we left, and I can't blame them as the place provides an interesting environment to dine and judging by the lounge area, grab a drink.

There wasn't much speakeasy going on, but it was a nice vibe. Server/bartender was very friendly and helped me choose a local beer from among the offerings. The dipping sauce has a slight amount of spice kick that compliments the pickles well. Absolutely delicious. Cheesesteak Egg rolls These are huge! Stuffed full of steak and cheesy goodness. The red peppers were still crisp and not mushy. Excellent flavors on the steak. The dipping sauce add to the flavors. Fried Goat Cheese Balls Panko breading feel to the outside coating, perfectly golden fried, and a nice crunch. The goat cheese inside was creamy with herbs. The balsamic drizzle brought all of the flavors together. Nicely done. Smash Burger The burger patties were thick and juicy. Lots of google perfectly melted cheese. Bacon was perfectly fried, and fit on the entire burger from each edge of the bun. The brioche bun was toasted, leaving the inside soft and warm. Medium temperature was accurately prepared. Delicious. All of the food was surprisingly delicious for a bar. Definitely Baltimores best kept secret. Check them out and tell Macy I sent you!
