This is always a 5 star experience for us. Friendly service and food is fantastic. Much better than Dough Zone, which had become too corporate. Handmade noodles are delicious here. Highly recommend!!

I don't like comparing restaurants with other restaurants so I'll stick to talking about the food. I had food delivered so I can't go about the service or ambiance of place. But according to deliverer he waited a while for the food. The pork xiao long bao was dry, hardly any soup. It was more affordable than other places, but not quite as good. So probably not going back. The beef soup with bok choy and handmade noodles arrived hot. Were ok, but the broth was a bit salty, and off pudding in taste. My daughter felt the same about it. The braised beef pancake rolls were good, but a bit soggy. And the deep fried buns were so dry I could barely chew it.

Visited for lunch this afternoon with friends was nice to come with more people and try more items. We ordered the Green onion pancake, salt and pepper shrimp, chicken chowmein and spicy eggplant. My friend said the spicy eggplant is her new favorite eggplant dish. I really enjoyed their version of salt and pepper shrimp. Full shell head on so delicious. Lots of garlic. Clean and bright space. Service is always friendly and quick we arrived about 11am and were seated immediately and given hot tea as soon as we sat down. Definitely will be back

It was stale thick fried batter in super sugary sauce-it's lacking flavor

The fried spicy eggplants looks so good but oh man it was not good! This is based on my order itself today because usually this place is really good Today my rating is 1/5 (hence I rated it 3 stars just because it can be a hit or miss) Spicy fried eggplants: Spice level 0/5 (I'm so confused, there is no spice at all) Taste: 0/5 it tasted like pure candied sugar, not savory no salt Batter: it was like thick fried chicken batter but it was so stale from all the sauce 0/5 Price: $15 for half container portion Overall I would not get this dish again

5 stars- I love the fact this place is super casual with home made quality XLB and Tawainese food. Food- 4 stars- homey, yummy! * loved the pig ear salad- flavorful. Not spicy, loved how thinly sliced it was. * Braised beef in onion pancake roll- beef was super tender, flavorful, cut into chunks, cold. The pancake was too oily for me, and hot! Overall enjoyed. * spicy wontons- was fine. Nothing exciting. * sautéed string beans were good- little oily and salty. Flavor was good * braised beef noodle soup had a lot of depth. Beef tender. Hand made noodles were the best! * pork XLB- good flavor, not as much soup, but still good. *golden fried buns- drizzled with condensed milk. Simple, hot and yummy! Ambiance- 3 stars. Service- 4 stars. Server was nice and kids loved all the kid friendly design bowls, utensil and cups. Food came out super fast. Location- Great Wall shopping center where 99Ranch is located. Plenty of parking. On the right side/arm of the mall. Value- very good. Recommend- YES!

Stopped by here after a long day of shopping and couldn't have been more satisfied! We were greeted with smiles and seated right away. The overall vibe was very clean and Asian lol. We ordered the xiaolongbao and some type of noodle soup that I forgot lol. They were both very delicious. And they came out quickly. Service was definitely top notch. We were checked up on regularly and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again.

Crispy and very delicious. I also recommended this dish to a family member and he went to try the same thing on his way to pick up someone from the airport. It's about a 13 minute drive to SeaTac from Mama Dough's so if you need a place to eat on the way to the airport I highly recommend mama dough! Get the crispy pan fried dumplings! Just look at how good that looks

Great dumplings and selection of bigger plates. The service was so fast, and we got to see the staff make dim sum behind the counter. Service was fast and it was clean and bright inside. I loved the garlic string beans!

We ordered braised beef pancake roll, braised beef spicy oil noodles, and pork Xiao Long Bao. They were all great and enough for 2 people. My favorite was braised beef pancake rolls. The tangy sauce complemented the rolls very well.

Food: 3/5 - Got 2 pork wonton noodle soup bowls - Good noodles and chicken broth - Very small wontons with maybe 1/2 teaspoon of meat filling. - Got 1 order pork wontons in spicy Sichuan sauce. Very tasty, but again, very small wontons. - Got a $20 bag of 50 frozen wontons just for convenience to make at home. With such small wontons, you only get 1/2 a freezer gallon bag full. Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 - Modernized, but basic and serviceable

Super friendly staff, immediately greets you as you come in the door. Attentive too! The space is small but wasn't too crowded on a Saturday at 1pm. Food was good, comparable to Din Tai Fung (and better than Dough Zone imo). My mom didn't like the taste of the meat though. Really like the texture of their eggplant and beef pancake roll.

Maybe I needed to take a break from this place to really appreciate it thoroughly? Either way I'm so glad I made the decision to come here for a late lunch. Ordered the potato salad, beef pancake roll, chicken pancake roll and red spilled oil noodles. Potato salad had great crunchy texture and the perfect punch of vinegar. Pancake rolls were delicious, super oily and crispy- the meat in both was good but I preferred the chicken...however! The sauce on the beef was so yummy, the touch of sweetness. The noodles were delicious, spicy, tons of garlic and had great chew. Service was good and quick.

D11. Braised Pork Belly
Yvonne K.

As good as my Canton mom's. I was heading for a different restaurant when my husband saw this one. It had a waiting list but it was short and quick to get seated. The food has a significant variety. From cold appetizers to xiaolongbao to braised pork belly to chow mein. We ordered it all. The cold chicken with spicy peanut sauce, the combo xiaolongbao of egg and chive or lamb dumplings, the green onion pancakes, braised pork belly, Chinese sausage chow mein, crispy chicken (which is salt and pepper chicken). We literally got everything we could possibly eat. And everything is literally delicious. Is your mom Chinese? Did she make Chinese food for you? Cause get ready for a blast from the past because mama isn't making these dishes in retirement! The location is small. Only about 14 tables. It's bright white inside and you can see who, I presume is Mama Dough herself, rolling dumplings at a counter in the front. If you're looking for good, REAL authentic Chinese food, then you definitely need to come here.

I see some people saying they order to go, but I CANNOT get them to answer their phone. Any tips or tricks?

Call blocked

I am disabled-how FAR in to the mall is it to get to Mama's Dough? Great pain when I walk.. usually can only go about 20 steps before I must sit down. Is this restaurant "do- able" for me? (esp. if someone dropped me off in front?) What entrance?

I would say it’s 2-3 restaurants in so right about your limit of steps. I always get my food to go and it’s amazing. Perhaps order on the phone and have someone run in to pick up for you? You won’t be disappointed. I hope this helps.

There were a few people picking up at the time we entered, but nobody else dining in. When one of the servers came with our cold waters, we placed our food order right away with her. We got two orders of the Pork Patty Spring Rolls, a Kids Meatball Pho, a Combination Pho, a Grilled Chicken Noodle Bowl and a Vietnamese Pancake. After about 5 minutes, we got the Pork Patty Spring Rolls. Every single time we order them, they taste so good!!! Hits the spot whenever we visit this restaurant. Probably our favorite dish, actually. After we devoured the Spring Rolls, our entrees came out - Combination Pho and the Kids Meatball Pho. Then a few minutes later, the Grilled Chicken Noodle Bowl came out. I normally like to pour some Sriracha and Hoisin Sauce into my Noodle Bowl along with the sauce it originally comes with. Mixing everything in all of that makes it that much more flavorful for me! Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the food and the service. The Pho broth seemed a little bland and not seasoned as well as before. Other than that, all of the other food items were tasty and to our liking. The restaurant itself has ample amount of space to sit at since there are plenty of seating and tables available. Parking outside is good, there are plenty of spaces to park at as well. There used to be a Big 5 Sporting Goods store, but since that's gone, parking hasn't been an issue at all. They have pretty decent Vietnamese food for reasonable prices and adequate portions.

Upon arrival on the rainy day i was offered water or warm tea and opted for both. Nothing better than that combo for me. Ordered my usual... Pho with rare steak, tripe, tendon and added meatballs. Broth is flavorful, as with anything you make it how you want after the initial taste and i only add limes and chili oil with the added basil. Nothing else. Fun fact: sriracha and hoisin are meant to be on the side to dip in, not poor into the broth. Also what makes me come back here is the Pork Patty Spring Rolls. The added crispy crunch on the inside makes these next level with the dark Romaine and just enough noodles to not overwhelm them like other places. A little added tunes whether traditional or not would be great. Or maybe the sound from the TVs playing food videos from around Vietnam would be cool. The silence was actually a could change up with the air conditioning and sound from the kitchen cooking. Great experience and glad i finally got to come in here!

Actually it's afternoon, but we get less sunlight around this time hence it feels like the evening even at 4pm. Anyway, the inside is brightly lit and is very casual, with the interior feeling like a fast-food joint but with much better seating quality. Their menu consists of teriyaki, Chinese food, sushi, bento boxes, fried rice, yakisoba and many others. They also have a special sushi menu located behind the counter, and one particular kind caught my friend's eye. Servers were patient with us and would come by once in a while to refill our water cups. Now for the food: - We each got our own bento box. For mines, i got their box with hot crispy chicken, spicy tuna rolls and four pieces of gyoza. The hot crispy chicken is already filling on its own, and they don't skimp on the spices. It was really crispy, sometimes to the point of scratching the inside of my mouth. Spicy tuna rolls were standard but also hit the spot, with the mayo sauce and even the tuna being spicy. The gyozas were also standard but were cooked well. Portions here are huge, and I almost asked for a to-go box for my remaining chicken. They didn't provide me with a side of salad as they advertise on their menu, though. It only came with my other friend's bento with chicken teriyaki, California roll and four pieces of gyoza. He did enjoy the teriyaki here, though. - My friend got a Diablo roll, which has a similar mayo sauce on it but is covered on the outside by a layer of Flaming Hot Cheetos. This was even spicier than the spicy tuna rolls which was actually even better. It gets really filling because of all the filling and sauces above it, and carries a familiar crunch with the Hot Cheetos covering. Walking inside, the interior feels inviting and thoughtfully designed, with a clean, modern aesthetic softened by warm lighting and natural tones. There's a noticeable balance between openness and coziness, and plenty of seating options--from small tables for solo diners to larger spaces for groups--making it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. The food itself leans heavily into comfort, starting with the Grilled Cheese, which delivers a surprisingly nostalgic bite. The crisp, buttery bread gives way to perfectly melted cheese, instantly reminiscent of childhood lunches. Paired with the Tomato Soup, the experience becomes even better--the soup's creamy, smooth texture complements the sandwich beautifully, creating that classic combination that feels both simple and deeply satisfying. Another standout was the Asiago Croissant Twist, which offered a flaky, airy texture with a subtle richness from the cheese. Each bite had a delicate crispness on the outside while remaining soft and layered within, making it an easy favorite for something lighter yet indulgent. The Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwich was equally impressive, bringing together a balance of flavors and textures. The chicken salad was creamy without being heavy, while the cranberries added a gentle sweetness that contrasted nicely with the savory elements. The walnuts provided a slight crunch, rounding out each bite and giving the sandwich a more elevated feel. Overall, Panera Bread delivers a well-rounded experience--comfortable seating, a welcoming atmosphere, and food that manages to feel both familiar and thoughtfully prepared.
