I stayed at this campground in a camping cabin a few weeks ago. The cabins we had were very small,…read morebut they were clean and cozy. There were 2 sets of bunk beds, a small table with 4 stools, and a good size fridge in the room. The cabin had a nice deck with a picnic table and umbrella for shade. Unfortunately our door had some serious problems and it took a great deal of effort to get it to lock. We notified the office and they were aware of the problem when they gave us our cabin and didn't offer to fix or help in any way during our stay. The facilities were nice. The bathrooms are spacious. The showers were nice also. It costs money to take a shower and you only have 4 minutes before the water runs out. You can also only put in one coin at a time. So unless you have a friend who can insert another coin after 4 minutes, you're only having a 4 minute shower. The coin slots are not close to the actual shower. 2 showers have separate change areas and 2 do not. There are 6 sinks with individual mirrors and plugs but only 2 of the 6 plugs worked when I stayed there. There is free wifi available. The signal is strongest around the office. They have some nice benches that you can sit on to enjoy the wifi by the office :) The grounds are nice and clean. There is a beautiful river there with a large beach area. It's well maintained and very enjoyable and relaxing. The grounds are about a 10 minute walk to the closest Metro station that will take you downtown Stockholm, or you can drive about 20 minutes to get downtown.

The service is very friendly and helpful and they have a small kiosk at the reception. Cons: The restrooms and showers are horrific; they stink very badly and have hairs all over the wet floor. Also, the WiFi connection is not good.

I like rest stops by the water or in the woods. This one is pretty secluded even if it is not…read moreactually in the woods. The traffic is not disturbing. There are three or four tables. A gas station nearby, still you do not have to rest and eat AT the station area.
