They do not understand that some people can not just drop what they are doing and be able to drive an hour away on one days notice. They post the drawing on Tuesday and announce the winners on Friday for tickets that can only be used that weekend and Friday or Saturday only. Ridiculous to give a 1/2 day notice. I wrote them a nice letter explaining my situation and asking if they could move the prize until another date.The reply back was very rude. With Blah,blah, blah. Preferential treatment. Blah Blah. It's called good customer service not preferential treatment. Perhaps Tower Drive In can learn from River City Bistro, Ozark Natural Foods and other businesses I've won from. It is better to accommodate a customer than lose a customer. I would never give this place my business again. Staff ignore line queues for AMC Stubs Premiere, A-List, and Investor Connect Priority Lanes. Signs are there, but they just keep helping the regular line. Only one cashier when we went. Other employees were all buzzing around trying to keep up. The manager tried but was obviously under intense pressure and overworked. Theater was suboptimal. The blasting sound was unpleasant and did not enhance the overall experience, unlike at a newer AMC location. The tiny screen felt a mile away. People are on their phones all throughout the movie, texting. I got hot dogs and asked for mustard (there is no self-serve condiment stand). I got honey mustard. Ugh, This place desperately needs a remodel. It would not fly in most places where AMC operates, and its age is showing. Electric recliners are not enough to save it.
