Wow. This was an anniversary dinner and with no reservations we wanted to sit by the bar. The bar was full and the emidatly escorted us to a small table. We started off with the calamari and it was excellent, not too much breading. My wife had the salmon now I would say it did not come out like she wanted but the water and staff rushed to make it the way she liked. The atmosphere so perfect . This is definitely one of the best meals I've ever had. We were there on a Saturday night to celebrate my friend's birthday. We had a 7:30pm reservation and we're seated right away. We ordered the pork candy appetizer and a bottle of the 1853 Heritage Grand Reserve Malbec at the recommendation of our server Kitti. The pork candy is pork belly chunks with a sweet bourbon maple sauce. So good. The wine was very good also and complemented our meal perfectly. I knew I wanted at the fiocci di pera as soon as I saw it on the menu because pear pasta is my favorite. My date wanted a steak but couldn't decide which one. Kitti recommended the skirt steak since the are an Argentinian influenced restaurant. She was absolutely right to recommend it. The steak was exceptional. He ordered it with asparagus and a side of mashed potatoes. Both were excellent. My pasta was outstanding. The serving was large and the pasta had a very good amount of filling. Kitti was an exceptional server. She answered all of our questions, offered great recommendations and didn't make us feel rushed. And she was funny which is always a plus. so I love this restaurant so for my recent Birthday that was where I wanted to go. We arrive on time and am told that they need to set up the table so we finally get to our table I notice that usually have a table cloth and linen napkins but now no table cloth and paper napkins and no menu's anymore....so we set and wait for at least 15 minutes so i ask a busboy to please have a server come to our table no server but the busboy brings us bread and dipping sauce, still no server finally he comes gives us water and before he can leave we order drinks and appetizer's because we do not know if he will come back..so our drinks come and the drink my friend ordered was cucumber basal martini no cucumber we ask oh he was too busy now the meal guys want 6 oz steaks no only have 8 oz..ok wanted linguini with scallops guess what NO scallops so had to have chicken . Amazing experience with my family. The place is beautiful decorate and the food is tasty.

Steaks are tender. It is not unusual to be here as a customer but have the ambience ruined by a loud Cook or chef holding phone on speakerphone at bar. As far as service it makes me wonder when one, say, orders a sandwich to then be told "I'll go warm up your bread [basket]" to which I explain I don't need a loaf of bread with my sandwich. Ha ha! Holy moly! I usually don't frequent restaurants that are in Parkland, however I organized a get-together with some college friends and so glad I did. The restaurant is easily located on 441 north of Hillsboro Boulevard. When you walk in you are in the bar which is decorated very cool and then walk into an open area for dinner. Friends and I started off with drinks, and all I can say is I am in love with their lychee martini! In fact, I can't wait to go get another one lol. Although their food is a little pricey, it was worth it, and pricing is on par with other restaurants of this caliber. The service was impeccable and make sure you check your bill because they automatically added a 20% gratuity. I don't mind when that happens since I usually tip 20% anyways and you do have an option to add more. My friend ordered the center cut ribeye, which was amazing, and I ordered the skirt steak, which was amazing and my other friend ordered the Seabass, which was amazing. We also got a side of brussels sprouts, not my favorite sorry!, And yummy yummy mashed potatoes. Dinner is also served these amazing rolls with the most amazing chimichurri sauce I've ever had. Recently came here for my birthday and I was not disappointed! I was attracted to their menu and Yelp photos. I was looking forward to an intimate dinner and good cocktails. I started off with a pink cocktail that had the bubble over it. It was sweet but surprisingly strong. I enjoyed it. My date and I ordered the skirt steak, picanha steak, cauliflower and mashed potatoes. We ended the night with their chocolate dessert. I am a huge fan of picanha steak but I definitely thought the skirt steak was a better cut and dish. Perfectly salted and cut into small pieces. I would recommend that. The sides were just right. The dessert was way too sweet but we enjoyed it. Saved the other half of the dessert for another time. With tip, the total bill with 4 cocktails was around $230 which I find on par for a delicious meal. Upon entering was pleasant surprise by the ambiance. We found Malbec by accident as it was in a next door to another restaurant we considered. While perusing the menu we found so many items we were interested in having and since we had tried another restaurant up the road and packed it to go after a few bites, we decided on one appetizer and main course for sharing. We came to Malbec Grill to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had a reservation, but the place was pretty empty so it wasn't really needed. I had previously looked at the menu, and I knew I wanted to try their grilled octopus and have empanadas, of course. The grilled octopus was mostly show. I was very disappointed by it. It tasted like it's previously frozen. Those who know what I mean know. For the price I would expect freshly prepared from scratch. The drink I had was quite good. A play on a Cosmo only sweeter. My empanadas were delicious. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. He kept trying to push drinks on us. I guess they drive up the bill quickly. My husband ordered one of their steaks with mashed potatoes (a la carte) and he liked it. I have no appreciation for red meat so I can't say one way or the other how the quality was. What I ate was OK. The restaurant is simply decorated. The showcase is their wine display and the bar area, which is outside of the dining room. I do like that the tables are spaced far apart, so you never feel like other parties are on top of you. And lastly, the dessert were delicious I do love. postre Balcarce, which is an Argentinian whipped cream and meringue cake. It is to die for. All in all, I feel some things are overpriced for what they are and for the location of the restaurant. You do get top notch service and they do make an effort to be a more elevated restaurant. I absolutely love the interior of this little gem. Very intimate very minimalistic. They even have a private room that is spectacular if you want to have a private dinner. I was greeted by Martina, who makes excellent drinks. She made me the best cucumber, basil martini I have ever had, they use actual cucumber and basil none of that fake stuff. I had a beeff and a cheese and onion empanada, which I don't have pictures of because I basically inhaled them up so quickly. Yum! I had them with a side of the cauliflower, which was also cooked to perfection. The side was a pretty good portion to it could easily feed 3 to 4 people. To finish off my quick lunch, I asked for another drink, which was The Tipsy Cow. Their version of an espresso martini, but even better. I had the pleasure of meeting another one of their wonderful bartenders Rolph, he made The Tipsy Cow. All in all five across-the-board and I'm definitely coming back. If i could give this restaurant six stars I would. I took my mom for her birthday and it was such a wonderful evening. The service was great and Erwin was extremely attentive. The food was super yummy. There is a delicious loaf of bread that comes with an amazing parsley dipping sauce, that honestly you could put on just about anything. We started with the fired calamari that came with two sauces a cream base and a tomato base. The calamari was tender and large in size. For entrees we ordered the ribeye, skirt steak, a pear pasta, asparagus and tri-color cauliflower. The streaks were cooked perfectly and the pasta was in a cream sauce that was rich and creamy. It was amazing and I couldn't get enough. The restaurant has a bar when you first come in which is great to grab a cocktail. O and the cocktails are insanely good and entertaining! The main seating area is on the smaller side so I would suggest a reservation but I love that the tables were not in top of each other. This place is certainly a hidden gem. We moved to west boca recently and looking for places to have some steak I stumbled into Malbec Grill and we decided to try it. We were so pleasantly surprised by the place, the place itself is very clean and comfortable, the bar area and the main dining room are separated by a wall which is nice. The cocktails were delicious and fun! And, most importantly, the food was delicious. We both ordered steaks - I ordered the steak frites with mushroom sauce and it was everything I wanted it to be (and as a 7 month pregnant woman my demands were HIGH). Then we decided to order a desert I've only seen in this restaurant, it was cake with peaches but also dulce the leche and some merengue and it was delicious. So much so that my husband, who rarely eats sweets, had half of it himself! The service of course was on par with everything else. Super attentive and fast. I should've went with my instincts and got my favorite (ribeye), but the skirt steak was their signature so I figured I should go with that. It was ok, but just not my kind of steak. That's not their fault. I also got mashed potatoes which were very good, and mushrooms in wine sauce to top my steak with. They were just ok as well. One thing that was a little annoying was the full dessert menu is not on DoorDash. Our only option was the gelato. We got that, and were very sad when we saw how tiny it was (like the container was the size of my fist and like an inch tall). We celebrated our 11th anniversary at Malbec Grill. It was a find by my GF. It was amazing. This Argentinian steakhouse is spacious, modern and minimalist in design. When you walk in you know you are at a fine establishment. The food was done to perfection. We started with an appetizer of Pork Belly in a sweet syrup. Our main course was Skirt Steak. We asked for it to be prepared medium and it was well seasoned and so tender. Our chosen sides were Beer Battered Onion Rings and roasted Brussel Sprouts with dried cranberries, sliced almonds in a spicy Balsamic glaze (it was not that spicy). Our waiter Michael was very attentive and knowledgeable. Thank you Malbec and Michael for the Limoncellos to mark the occasion. For dessert we had the Balanac (spelling?). Located in the secluded shopping mall strip right off SR 7 it's very unassuming from the outside but surprisingly Argentine at the heart of it. I went with my friend and as I'm on a new Paleo regime and so I ordered skirt steak salad and a great gooey mixture of Provoletq but made their style. The service was great and were very obliging and apologetic when something was not exactly to my expectation. The chef from Uruguay did an excellent job of presenting Argentine style steak experience. Of course Uruguay and Argentina have similar cuisine and customs when it comes to meat and Mate but does not always vibe. It's pricey sure but the quality is excellent and you feel satisfied and treated nicely by the waitstaff. . I'm assuming they have a great wine selection though I did not have any wine but I would certainly go for the Malbec next time. The way my family and I were treated was absolutely disgusting. The entire experience was nothing but a huge disappointment. This restaurant does not deserve the business of good customers. In addition, my office had a holiday party there a couple years ago, and the food was mediocre at best. WOW! So impressed with Malbec Grill. Made reservations for a Friday night to celebrate mine and my friend's birthday. Arrived a bit early so we decided to sit at the bar for a bit and enjoy some cocktails, as the images of them looked so fun! I obviously went with the Purple Rain, gin based and so IG ready. My friends ordered the Pink Dream (another IG must), and the Passion Statement. Each made fresh, beautifully presented and Strong. While we enjoyed our drinks, the bartenders made conversation with us and were very friendly. We moved the tab to our table where our server immediately asked who the b-day girls were. Same as at the bar, he was friendly, funny, and really nice. He recommended a new Malbec they had recently received, and we started with that and some appetizers. 1. Beef Empanadas - these come 2 per order. They were piping hot, and delicious. 2. Grilled Provoleta Cheese - I could have ordered a second one of these. Perfectly grilled melted cheese, and they serve it with freshly baked bread. You really can't come here and not order it. Plus is great for sharing. For my entree I got the Prime Ribeye, cooked medium as ordered. Seasoned well, tender, juicy, and clean presentation. The Skirt Steak my friends ordered looked amazing too. And for sides we ordered family style the mashed potatoes, the asparagus (absolutely loved these), and mushrooms that went so well with the steak. For dessert we got the chocolate cake/ cheescake and they added two candles for our birthdays, and brought us limoncello and orangecello, on the house, to celebrate. Before leaving, one of the bartenders came to us to let us know bad weather was approaching, which we thought was extremely nice of them so we were not caught by surprise by the torrential rain that came. We have been going to Malbec for a while now and food and service has always been superb! However, last night we were very disappointed with the food! Our favorite waiter, Roberto, was fantastic as always! And we couldn't help but feel bad for him when almost everything we ordered they were out of starting with the beer we were drinking! And the filet mignons we ordered were definitely NOT the same steaks we've enjoyed in the past! Even my brother's grilled chicken salad was not good! I truly hope whatever they changed they change it back so we can continue to enjoy the best steaks anywhere with the sides we choose and with the beers we drink! This restaurant is a little pricey but it's worth it in my opinion. Food highlights : The Gold Steak: 1000/10. This steak is I believe cost $90 or more. I always get medium rare. When you try this steak,it is so juicy. Lightly seasoned but it was perfect. Honestly one of the best steaks I have ever eaten When I say this place has the best drinks... OMG! Had placed an order and arrived at the time they said it would be ready(15min). No one greets you so I had no choice but to go inside and tell someone at the bar that I was there for a pick up and was told 5min. After 10min someone finally comes out and tells me that I'm not allowed in there and to wait by the door and says 5 min again. 15min later so a total of 40min(25min wait inside and 15 min before that since placing an order) two orders of steaks were ready. I don't mind waiting for good food but both steaks I ordered rare were well done with no pink left at all and tough and chewy and it doesn't make sense how they took almost 45 min to make them when there's only one table of customers eating inside with kids yelling the whole and no other take out orders. I almost missed an appointment with a vet afterwards because of this unreasonable wait time. I love steak and get takeouts from different places so really wanted to rate this place better but the determining factor for this rating is that they didn't even give me any complementary bread. I think they are considered middle-high end steakhouse but la granja and other South American chain restaurants serve better steak for less than $20 with double their portion. read more
