I would highly recommend Shawn Black as a photographer for your special occasions that you want to capture and have for memories.

We loved our engagement shots and the previews of our wedding photos - which we used for thank you notes after the wedding. Our guests appreciated and complimented us on them as well. I can't wait to see them all!! Working with Shawn you feel like you're in great hands - he's professional, kind, calming, knowledgeable, and fun to boot! He's great at communicating everything ahead of time, putting you at ease during the preparation and on one of the most stressful - and wonderful - days of your life. That's what you want and need on your wedding day - to be surrounded by pros, so you can simply enjoy every moment! Here's more information about what it's like working with Shawn: He makes sure that he's capturing all of the traditional shots, as well as being open to accommodating any special requests that you have (ahead of time, and on the day-of). Shawn has a great eye for creating wonderful shots that highlight both the couple and the beautiful scenery - which is a recipe for some really unique photographs. He's very intuitive: for example, as we were doing family portraits the day-of, he could tell I wanted to add another family member into a shot without my having to say anything... and he proactively asked me if I wanted to add that person in. He was on top of it! He was also great about making sure we stayed on schedule as we ran around from place to place. The bottom line, he's a very skilled photographer at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Shawn for your wedding, engagement, and any portrait photography.

The staff always have something engaging planned, and it's clear that they put a lot of heart into everything they do. What really stands out to me is how the teachers and Ms. Cecilia treat the children--with so much respect, kindness, and care. My daughter often says she feels like a "grown-up" because of how empowered and supported she feels there. It's truly a place that goes beyond expectations to help little ones grow, feel seen, and gain confidence. As a working parent, it gives me tremendous peace of mind to know that she's in such a nurturing and enriching environment. They even handle school pickups, which has been a huge help. I'm incredibly grateful for the Chickpea team and the joy they bring to my daughter's afternoons.

To my delight, the photo booth ended up being the star of the show. I couldn't have been more pleased with my purchase. There was a steady stream of party goers eager to get their candid photos taken to document a fun night with friends and colleagues. And with their flat rate pricing, I was able to encourage people to use the photo booth as much as they wanted without worrying about extra fees. Not that they needed any encouragement the booth was slammed all night and till this day it's still a topic of conversation from the party attendees. The booth was top notch. Comfortable for two and with the privacy of the lush black curtains, I felt like a kid at the boardwalk arcade snapping a few timeless memories. This isn't your grandfather's photo booth though. Sure it prints out 2 photo strips within seconds of your pose, but it comes complete with large a color LCD display, video recording capabilities, email, and even the ability to post photos directly to facebook! This booth is first class. The booth alone was worth every penny, but what made the whole process a joy was the jovial owners of the company. From the very beginning of the transaction they were a joy to work with. They accommodated my schedule and needs, showed up early and left once the party had cleared out; even though they could have left earlier per our contract. These guys really had an interest in making my party awesome. You can tell they love what they do and love making people happy. Their prices are competitive but that type of service is priceless! I've already made arrangements to have them at another event. This time I'm going to take advantage of their custom branding on the photo strips. I can't say enough good things about this company. Hire these guys and you will not be disappointed!

I would say I considered really hard whether or not a planner was worth it and alot of my friends were saying I could definitely plan it myself along with the venue coordinator. However I have zero regrets hiring the lemon drop team. I do believe that without this team I would not have been able to fully enjoy my wedding as much as I did. It sounds a little cheesy but the day went almost perfect which is not at all what I was expecting. I think without this team I would've been a chaotic mess of a bride the day of. I think that all in all if you need someone to keep you on track and take all the stress off your shoulders as a bride you need to hire the lemon drop team.
