I called PF corporate office in Austin TX and they have refused to stop billing me and have refused to cancel the ghost membership. I was originally with TFF in Fort Worth, then they transferred me to Watauga, and now PF has transfered me to Denton County! PF states i must drive to Denton from Fort Worth to cancel in person. Planet Fitness has also refused to give me their corporate mailing address so i can send them a cease and desist letter. How unethical to slam and transfer memberships, increase the monthly charges, add on service fees of $20 per month, and then refuse to tell me their address. There is a good reason why Planet Fitness is hiding their location. My next stop is the Texas Attorney General office.

There can be anywhere from 2-10 people in there at a time, but usually it's around 4-6 people when I'm there. It's incredibly affordable at $150 for 8 sessions and they are angels for offering amazing personal training at a price point that is very manageable! Highly recommend for any ladies looking for a place to get strength training in with amazing trainers and supporting a local women's owned business is always a win too!

The FitCamps target a different area of the body each day, like arms & chest on Mondays, Wednesday is leg day, etc. And the coaches are all great. They each bring their personalities to class and they know each member. I love how they will bring you a higher weight choice if they feel that you can lift more. I find this motivating not intimidating. My personal training coach is Madison Sandvig, I see her twice a week for 30 minutes each session and she always has a great workout ready for me. Because of her, I have toned up, lost weight & inches and have reached new personal bests! She brings the right amount of energy and holds me accountable, which is exactly what I need. Even ChatGPT says nothing about the referring member. Based on this, I referred 3 of my friends, and they all signed up on the same day. Now I'm being told by staff that the referral program only applies during my first month as a member. This was never mentioned anywhere--not on the website, not on the referral sheet, and not verbally when I asked about it beforehand. Before referring my friends, I even called the gym to confirm the details, and no one mentioned this limitation. During my friends' sign-ups, the sales rep took my information (email and phone number) and assured me he would submit everything to management and that I'd hear back within a week. I never received any communication. When I followed up, I was told that only one of my referrals was counted. What happened to the other two? There has been no clear explanation. At this point, it feels like the gym is trying to avoid honoring the 1-year free membership reward. The written terms only refer to the qualifying referrals and say nothing about restrictions on the referring member's membership timeline. This situation is frustrating and misleading, and feels like they are cheating their way out of the perk.
