I added myself to the waitlist after midnight and received an automated text, the next morning I received a phone call from the salon to learn more about the haircut type (trim), current hair length, and my availability. I was added to Leslie's schedule for 3:30pm that day. The person on the phone was warm and enthusiastic. I also appreciated all the text updates leading up to the appointment. Closer to the appointment time, I received a text link to check in. Upon arrival, I was greeted right away and taken to the waiting area which was stocked with SO many drinks and snacks! Prob the most and nicest setup I've seen for snack/drink offerings at salon. They make their own cold brew, have a large selection of teas, nespresso pods, milks, syrups, and bubbly drinks! Seriously such a cute setup. The salon itself is very clean and modern with a lot of natural lighting. Leslie was super sweet and I liked my haircut! My appointment wasn't too long but I didn't feel rushed at all. I went in on a Saturday and did not have issues with parking however I can see parking being a little tricky if you book during the week, so be sure to plan ahead just in case. Great experience and would come back!

I'm giving this 2 stars because the staff is very nice and it's a beautiful salon, but I'm just…read morereally disappointed with my hair experience here. I came in with multiple reference photos for what I thought was a pretty straightforward style: layers, curtain bangs, and a blowout, with about 3 inches taken off my base length. Instead, I essentially left with 3 inches taken off and a few layers in the front that didn't translate into the back. I was also disappointed to find that their version of a blowout was simply blow drying and curling the hair, which was not what I was expecting based on my photos. More than anything, I wish they had just been upfront and told me they weren't comfortable doing this particular haircut. When I showed the stylist my photos, they gave me several reasons why certain techniques or the style itself wouldn't work for my hair. I would have much rather known upfront that they weren't comfortable executing the look and waited to see my regular stylist. I also should have asked to see some of their previous haircut work beforehand as none of their work is similar to the photos I included here. I really tried to be understanding throughout the appointment, but unfortunately, I left with a basic haircut that wasn't what I asked for and a result I'm still dealing with weeks later. Just a really disappointing experience overall.

Not only is The House Salon both feel clean, fresh and hip professionally but also gives you…read morecomfort vibes as if you were sitting in your own home. But to top the overall experience, this salon has some of the most top tier artists, I call them that because at the heart of it that is what they are. Not hairdressers or artists. They transform a vision. And they build your trust and visa versa. I would be amiss to call out my personal favorite, Jessica. As a professional in my own industry for well over 20+ years, it's admittedly easy to forget that a customer or in my case a patient is more than simply a number. But yet, many of these artists make you feel instantly like you're something. You're someone. I used to rank success in life with a title or truly a ranking in your career. As I age, I no longer feel that's quite as important as those that have a special artistry to bring life back to those that are down, stressed or merely surviving. Jessica doesn't see each client as simply a number. She sees the person. And that is what makes her an exceptional artist, and might I add an extremely talented colorist! I don't think you'll ever be disappointed in her chair. And if you are, it's because you started out that way and she helped turn your day around. Top notch in her craft. I could not recommend Jessica and The Amazing staff at The House Salon enough. You leave feeling seen. And what person doesn't feeling like they can't conquer the world after leaving the salon? Am I right! Angels on earth. In a world full of stress and deadlines, these individuals give you a little slice of how beautiful life can be when you take a moment to just breathe. And look fabulous at the same time. Salute!

Mel did multiple cross checks to ensure the length was even. She provided me tips on styling my hair, showed me what products she used.
