I scheduled an updo from 11:00-12:00 and mineral makeup from 12:00-12:30, planning to be in my dress by 1:30 for a formal event. I explained clearly what I wanted for the updo, but the stylist admitted she didn't know how to do it and began watching YouTube tutorials to figure it out. After several failed attempts, I ended up with a loose, braided style that I could already feel falling apart. It was now after 12:30, and I hadn't even started my makeup. Even though I had booked my makeup with the owner, she began working on someone else's hair and passed me off to someone clearly inexperienced. All I got was a quick base of foundation before I had to leave at 1:15--with no finished hairstyle and no completed makeup. I paid for services I didn't receive, and all the owner offered was 50% off. I had to rush to throw on my dress and completely redo my hair and makeup myself in 15 minutes just to look halfway presentable. Absolutely unacceptable.
