Working in Makati has given me opportunities to explore the city a little bit more on foot. Sure, travelling on foot in Metro Manila can be a huge hassle. The scorching heat (especially during the summer), the humidity, the other people who you might bump into, then there are the Pinoy drivers running through the streets of the Metro.
Going on foot does have its advantages. The underpass for example, is for me, one of the benefits of walking around Makati. You never know what you'll encounter each time you go down there.
I've sometimes walked underground surprised to see amazing art pieces. In fact, there are times when I find myself spending too much time just standing there and looking at all the wonderful posters.
The underpass reminds me of how sometimes life can randomly throw you something beautiful to look at and you might just miss it if you're not paying any attention. read more
