Byfords is a wholesale florist shop selling fresh cut flowers and artificial ones as well…read more The best bit though is the sundries part here they sell loads of baskets and metal buckets and pots ideal if you like making hampers for Christmas presents, ribbon in every size and colour you can image at unbelievable prices these are sold by the whole roll usually about 25m but often these cost the same price as a couple of metres in a retail shop. They also sell cellophane for wrapping up those hampers and big packs of cheap tissue paper. They are open 6 days a week closed on sundays but they do shut for lunch 1pm -2pm every day.

We do not recommend Jades Flower Design…read more Beverley did our flowers for our wedding day. It was agreed, the flowers would be dropped at our houses by a certain time. Due to miscommunication on Jades Flowers side, Flowers were taken to the venue causing the flowers to be taken to the houses 1.5 hours late. This then meant that we had no photos at home with flowers. Realising the flowers were going to be late, we contacted Beverley only to be confronted quite rudely. Also we ordered artificial blossom flowers in a particular colour (bright pink) for 8 vases for our wedding reception. When we turned up on the day, the artificial blossom flowers were in a very light pink which was not what we ordered. The light pink did not go with our other table decorations and the white decorated room that we was in looked very pale and dull. Beverley had numerous opportunities to explain to us that she was unable to get what we had ordered however, didn't feel the need to tell us. We also ordered magnets for the mums' buttonholes which wasn't delivered, aswell as another buttonhole which also wasn't delivered to the bridal party at home. Due to the lateness of the agreed time for the flower delivery on the day of the wedding, we didn't have any time for bridesmaids to put the flowers in their hair. During the lead up to the Wedding, we were noticing issues with our quote which was raised to Beverley. We would not recommend this company and wouldn't want anyone to experience what we experienced on a once in lifetime Wedding Day.
