Don't get me wrong it's good chocolate but not a rich and has less cocoa in it. For gift giving get this chocolate and save the higher end for yourself but it's still Belgian chocolate and can't go wrong with that.

The store has a self-serve structure where everything is priced by the pound. The workers were very friendly--one even greeted me with a free sample & we had a lovely conversation about traveling. The rumors are true: Belgian chocolates are absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the treats so much that I even made a second trip to bring one of my friends back to try some for themselves. When we got there around 11:30, the place with crowded with locals buying their bread and pastries and cakes. We looked at photos with Carmelina, an Italian-Belgian who spoke English, and decided on the style and type of cake. After that, we decided to have a seat in there and have a slice of pizza. They have a few different kinds and we went for the ham one. Not bad! This was enjoyed with a coffee. The boulangerie also does excellent Italian style ice cream. You can get a small cup or cone but we decided on a half liter to take home, just packed into the container. Got chocolate and cherry. Excellent choices! This place is about 15 minutes away from downtown Mons, so not very far but located in this village that is quite small. It is close to the hydrolic boat lifts on the Canal du Centre, so if you go and visit there, this would be a good place to stop for your pastry needs.
