An American in Asti, I bought a case of wines from Coppo Winery and they charged me for shipping it home.
An unfortunate glitch happened because Coppo used my Amex card for the shipping and Mail Boxes Etc doesn't accept Amex. This surfaced after I'd returned to USA, of course.
I got an email from Marco at MBE explaining the problem, but I wasn't comfortable clicking strange European links sent by email, so I dawdled. MBE (Marcos) persisted with a second email, this one also from the wonderful Marco and also in good English.
I replied and told him of my reservations. His friendly response urged me to trust him, but I really wanted to talk to a human and feared a language impasse, so asked him when he'd be available at work for a brief chat. He told me his working hours and send me another payment link. I found a Calling Card and phoned him at work and was reassured when I reached him at the published phone number for the MBE in Alba. Problem solved, I paid the shipping via the link and my wine arrived a few days later.
Bottom line, this MBE store in Alba did a professional job of getting my wine to me expeditiously and worked with me to solve the small issue that arose. I'd happily deal with them again and look forward to doing so. (It's really delicious wine!)
