Beware! Don't make the same mistake that I did. Unless you have good money to throw at bad options,…read morethis is not a good choice! I knew they were more expensive than most, but they seemed to have long standing clients (which was a good sign) so I gave them a try. First of all my home is pretty darn clean to begin with, (not to mention that we just moved back in after being away for 2 years, and had done a deep cleaning upon return about a month before. I must vacuum dog hair 3x a week, clean a/c vents, appliances, keep the kitchen and baths up and dust everything down on a regular basis.... but it's a house that is 3000 sf. & I needed some help. For the first "deep clean" I was told it would be a detailed job and would cost more so they could really get to the bottom of everything, but after the first time it would be mostly "maintenance" and would be more like $320. Still way more than I had expected to pay but I bit my tongue and set it up only because Nicole told me that the price was higher because they are paying a fair wage to the team and offering the maids benefits, etc.. I am all for that! This so called Extra Clean (or whatever the term was that she used) cost me $520! Not kidding. and It was NOT the kind of cleaning that should have cost anything near that. At first I thought the girls were just being meticulous and really getting into the corners, etc.. but the fact was they were not meticulous and were just inefficient and slow. They were very very slow compared to a squad of maids I had used for 3 years in the past (from Eye On Your Home, which unfortunately stopped offering maid service around the pandemic) and some major things were overlooked or just weren't included in the things they do. For example, I had to ask them to slide the sofa back a foot or two to vacuum and mop under it, because they hadn't. They said they usually don't move furniture. I also asked Nicole to have them clean out the stoppers in the bathroom sinks, which is a pet peeve of mine, but she said they don't do that. They neglected to fold up the ends of large carpets to be able to vacuum and mop under them. Also not something they do. They don't remove and clean the filters in the vent hood that get greasy with use, or vacuum/wipe the tracks of the windows that get dirty from dirt when the windows are opened. They neglected to dust and damp-wipe the fireplace mantle until I asked if they had done it and saw that they hadn't, or clean the ceiling fan in the living room...and the list goes on! I don't know why but I still gave them the benefit of the doubt..which wasn't warranted, but I was desperately looking for a service that would come on a regular basis and help me, and I figured the first time is a learning curve. The maids were nice enough and I was being flexible. I was still reluctantly willing to go for a second cleaning to see if things got better, knowing that it probably would not. This was the other clincher: I hadn't heard from Nicole to confirm the next cleaning, scheduled for 2 weeks out. I emailed her the day before to see about what time they were coming. No response. So I called her the morning of the scheduled cleaning and she answered. She said she tried to call me but I must not have gotten the message...uh..that excuse doesn't work in 2022! The era of cell phones...I had no missed calls or voicemails from her...she must have forgotten that this excuse can't work anymore! She then informed me that she went ahead and canceled the next cleaning! She said she underestimated our job and said she should have charged me 3X what she did for the girls to complete what I wanted them to do. What?? 3X? OMG!! So she went ahead and took us off the books. Not a word from her. How professional! I have realized that the extra money they charge because according to Nicole they "pay a living wage and offer benefits" also has to pay for an office staff and apparently a Supervisor who came out twice during the cleaning. Allegedly to be sure they were doing their job and there were no issues. In fact, she was there when I called the team back in when they were about to leave, because they missed cleaning the mantle, the ceiling fans and under the sofa! The Supervisor wasn't at all happy that the girls had to add that to the list which should certainly have been on it in the first place. She wanted them outta there. They had exceeded the time allotted and she was mad. So paying for the rest of the staff who isn't cleaning is also a big part of the cost, but I think that added 50% to the tab! I was holding off writing my review until the second cleaning was complete- giving them yet another chance to really get it right. I've got to stop doing that! Silly me! The road to hell is paved with good intentions and sometimes we even overpay on the way down!! Beware!
