I have used Maid OK twice since I've lived in the Oklahoma City area. Both times were for move out cleanings. After calling other companies I went with this company in particular because they don't seem to nickel and dime you to death. What I mean by that is it's it's a top to bottom cleaning. Other companies want to make you pay extra to clean the refrigerator, the oven, the window shades or the windows for example. However, when you're doing a move out I feel all that should be included. I understand different companies do it different ways but I do appreciate the way this company approaches their pricing. My advice would be to be very honest about the amount of square footage that you have in the level of upkeep that you maintained while living there. That makes it easier for them to assess how many man hours they will need to assign to your home. If you are not accurate in your assessment that means that they can't be accurate in pricing. The first time I used them I was very honest and they ended up having to stay a bit longer which meant I had to decide whether I wanted to pay more. I'll be honest, that didn't thrill me. But the job was done well and overall I was very happy with the outcome. They do also provide carpet cleaning for an additional charge. For a move out this was perfect. The guy that does the carpet is excellent. He really takes time and pays attention to detail and what you are telling him. No one company is perfect in this company definitely probably could benefit from some more organization within the home office. Scheduling seemed to be an issue both times but they did come when they agreed to come even though they may have wanted to reschedule things. I scheduled a deep clean for my home they have been here twice now and still not right. They are coming for third time and final time. I walked the owners son into our hall bath and showed him dust still on shower tile he then said I never showed it to him when I called back. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! As a disabled 100 % Veteran who served our country for 46 years I was hoping their service would be at least equal to mine. I would leave no stars but had to have at least one. Well it's 5pm and Maid OK failed to show to address issues from missed areas. I guess their Satisfaction Guaranteed is a myth because I'am definitely not satisfied with their service and they just blew me off. Anyone know a great maid service I can call? I recently hired Maid Oklahoma for a deep cleaning service. My house was already fairly tidy, with everything picked up and dishes done, so it was more about completing the minor cleaning tasks. I booked two cleaners for a total of 5 man-hours (2.5 hours in my home). While we were gone during the service, both my partner and I felt that the cleaners worked much slower than expected. It seemed like they were dragging out the process, especially considering the house's condition. They asked if it was okay to extend the time before we left, which felt a bit off--almost like they were trying to get more money out of us. They also called me twice once 30 mins prior to the end of the cleaning session to say they had two hours of work left and then again maybe 15 minutes later asking if they could do just one more hour instead after I initially declined. While they did clean, it just felt like they were taking an unusually long time, given how little was actually needed. read more

Use service with CAUTION!* This was for a move in deep clean in an empty house, scheduled weeks in advance. They gave the bait and switch. Calling me 30 mins before they would be done saying they needed another hour. Gave me a list of what still needed to be done. I went to the house close to end time and they had just started the floors with a dirty, spoiled milk smelling mop. I asked them to leave. Office staff, Jennifer was ok. She had a crew come out the next day, they spent 3hrs cleaning because nothing had been done. Literally nothing. I asked for the owners to call me. It's been 4 days haven't heard from them. After being a loyal customer for more than ten years, Maid OK dropped me without prior notice and without giving any reason or any way to work out whatever problems they perceived were occurring. I understand they have been short-handed because of Covid, but after they dropped me I talked to several other maid services in the area who said they weren't having any personnel problems at all. Sounds like an administrative problem to me. Even so, before they dropped me I would have given them at least 3 stars, maybe 4. Too bad. I guess loyalty just doesn't count these days. read more

I had the pleasure (& it really was!) of having a 3-lady crew give my home a clean-up (22 June). I'm a widower, and, let's face it, a 75-year-old guy isn't going to do the greatest job of "keeping the home cleaned up" as his late wife did! These 3 did an EXCELLENT job of getting this place back on a presentable level. Shannon, Stormie, & Gina did such a great job that I am going to request them again when I set-up a "monthly-or-such keep up with the clean" plan since I'm so lazy about some of it! First time I paid for the service (deep cleaning) was very good EXCEPT for things like the fact that they did not dust cob webs; broke the belt in MY vacuum and did not inform me; did not clean the oven; did not dust top of pictures; did not clean the inside of the fridge... the deep cleaning means DEEP! When I complained there was SUPPOSED to be a credit for the next scheduled cleaning... the next time not only was there no discount, they did not clean 1/4 of the sf of my home! The excuse was that the door was closed. I WAS IN THE HOUSE! There is no reason that they could not have asked if it was OK to clean the 500 sf den. (500 sf of a 2000 sf home NOT cleaned... she said there would be a credit for the next cleaning) Mind you the first credit was NOT applied... and the SECOND credit was not applied. So I complained again. Finally,the 3rd chance, I asked the 2 people you sent if they were going to wipe the ceiling fans. and finish dusting the shelves in the kitchen. The reply was "Our time is up. My husband arranged for an 11 am basic cleaning today, Saturday, July 29th. The ladies did not show up until 11:50 am, with no call to let us know they would be late. Highly unprofessional. After we weren't happy with another home cleaning service, 2green chicks, (I think they fulfill a viable niche for those not wanting any hard chemical cleaners used on the home) OKMaid did great! We de-clutter just a little before they come, they don't pick up our clutter, they don't do our dirty dishes, they don't have to pick up to vacuum, hence they charge us less and are in and out quickly to their next job (as it should be for us) They cost 20%-30% less for their deep clean and regular maintenance than any other service in the area (which in itself does not always mean they should be your #1 choice) but they really hustled, entire three bedroom two bathroom, office, kitchen, living room, and laundry room, two cleaners really hustled for 75 minutes! And our home was really really clean. 1550 SF home. Online quote within four hours of answering short survey regarding home. Mop/vacuum carpet, hardwood, and tile, clean all surfaces in kitchen, dust all surfaces in entire home, bathrooms spotless, linens changed, front and back doors Windex sparkle inside and out. Both tubs and showers spotless with grout cleaned sparkling white as they use bleach. All trash taken out. OKMAID has a simple policy, if you are not satisfied, you don't pay, for whatever reason which I think is the way I believe housekeeping services should go. Consider the outstanding service and outstanding value, OKMAID rocks! Even after the very first service, even before I'm giving them any feed back, I'm very satisfied with their service. The only negative feedback I have is that when my real hard wood floors were wet they slid a bucket across them (which can scratch the wood) instead of picking it up, this in my opinion is a very minor note that won't happen again. The ladies were exactly on time start and finish, dressed nicely, efficient, thorough, courteous, and were respectful of my home. We will have them back every two weeks and I'll post updates occasionally for your review. I too think you'll be happy with their services as well. We weren't looking for free services, we were just looking for reasonable service based on the fact that our home is not cluttered and all they do are the deep services of maintenance each time and are in and out in 75 minutes. read more

Maid OK came out and visited our site to create an estimate to clean carpets. The morning of the appointment, Maid OK representative showed up, and asked for an outside water source. We explained that we only had the sink in the break area, or restrooms. He replied that he needed an adapter, and would return the following day to complete work. Later that morning, we get an updated, increased estimate to include an $80 lock out fee. Maid OK faulted our organization with a fee for not being to complete the job. I tried to reason Maid OK explaining that the estimator should have determined that he would need an adapter at the estimation. There was no cost increase for the adapter. Maid OK were only accessing fees for being unable to complete their job. Their office was not willing to accept any fault in their estimators inability to prepare proper estimates. We will never use this company. read more

This is a terrible company. I am a former employee and was disrespected and treated very poorly. They lie to customers and also are very rude to employees and customers alike. They make excuses because they don't want to do what the customer wants and tell people lies because they can't schedule well. They will hire anyone so I'd watch out who you ask to come in your homes. I would suggest hiring someone that cleans on their own because you will have a lot better experience than through a company that just wants your money and over charges you and under pays their employees. I do not recommend for make ready or move in cleaning. They did dust the chandelier, clean blinds, mop and vacuum. My best bet says that was it. I grabbed the ticket a wiped my hand across the kitchen counter top it was sitting on and my hand came up full of dust. The inside of the fridge was not cleaned out, there was black cat hair through out. The doors had all sorts of random kid splatters on the surface that just needed a wipe down. I also had a few bags that the could have easily vacuumed under, but went around. There was a note that said they didn't have polish for Crome... Oh well. There was little bits of debris under sinks that could have been easily vacuumed. The closet shelves were not dusted... I could go on and on. Long story short if you want a very very surface look-good from quick walk thru (which my house already was before the maids), the $200 make ready is for you. If you want a clean surface to put your things on, look elsewhere or do it yourself. Sad part is I was not home and left a 20% tip. Never Again. read more

Scheduled a move in clean over a week prior to the day I wanted it done. I was very specific that I had limited time and needed it done on the day specified. I was assured it would be no problem. On the day of the scheduled clean they were an hour late. I wanted the carpets cleaned as well and was told when I scheduled that the cleaning crew would call the carpet cleaners when they were half hour from being done and he would be right over. When the cleaners left I asked about then carpet clean. I was told he had other jobs before me. My cleaning was done around 1:30 and they told me the carpets would not be done until around 5 but they would be here as soon as possible and would call when they were heading over. At 5 I still had not heard from anyone so called to find if they were on their way. At that time I was told again they had jobs before me and it would be at least 6 and maybe later. I finally got a call at 5:40 that they would be here within 40 minutes. I would not recommend this business unless you are ok with sitting around waiting all day to see if and when they will show up. Very poor service when I set a clear expectation that I was assured would be no problem. read more
