This is not slander as this is my true experience, with screenshots/ emails to prove it. She unethically withdrew from my case, just days before my hearing after I pointed out my legal concerns and rights pertaining to my case. My income was included, we have to pay opposing party attorneys fees, half of student loans, back child support based on a number that was pulled out of a hat! My children get SSI from their deceased parent and that goes to his ex because of all the money we are required to pay. This man is a con artist, thief, destroyer of lives! A horrible horrible attorney, and person inside and out! DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN TO HELP YOU! UPDATE*** We had to file a special hearing to get Andrew List's banking information, as over 7 months after our court date he still has yet to pay. He has been contacted over 10 times between myself and the other attorney we owe money to due to his negligence. He refuses to respond or even male any kind of payment arrangement. The court date was cancelled because Carson city courts were unable to serve him because he got evicted from his office building. We had to refile, and he was finally served by someone at the courts when Andrew showed up for a case. He has recently had more than one bar complaint made against him. In the end, I chose Andrew to represent me because he had assured me that he was the man for the job and seemed to be compassionate to my financial situation by convincing me that he was in it not for the money but because he cared. Later I would find out this was just his sales pitch to bag a client and make another paycheck at my expense and that he could not nor even care to empathize with my case and situation at all. I wish I could say my more than unatisfactory experience ended there, but it did not. On top of his poor skills of being a less than amateurish attorney, he also raised my concern by constantly showing up late, rescheduling appointments and even no call, no showing on one occasion. The worst part for me is not that my case was butchered by him, but that he is a DUI attorney who's office smelled of marijuana on a regular basis and who's breath constantly smelled of booze when showing up to appointments after pulling up to them in a motor vehicle. I also filled out paper-- work prior to session; that paperwork, stating I was seeking advice about a divorce. I wish he would have told me that he doesn't take on divorce cases before he collected my $150 bucks. I would have chosen another attorney for legal advise. He said he'd refer me to someone else for my divorce; although, Cauley did answer my questions, but he did not volunteer any other information. In the future, I'll know better and ask if that attorney will actually take my particular case, or if they plan to refer my case to someone who specialized in my particular situation--prior to paying for the service.
