The prices are beyond reasonable (sometimes cheaper than prices at the brewery,) their selection is both extensive and unique (they serve as primary distributors for breweries like d'Oude Maalderij and Picobrouwerij Alvinne given its geographical proximity) and the staff working is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They also host free tasting events on a monthly-ish basis, and will invite brewers to come and introduce their beers and host guided tastings (not for free). Deconinck also isn't shy about giving away free swag to loyal customers (I got an Alvinne glass for free, as well as a beer opener); ended up walking out of the place with about 22 beers that are unavailable in the states for unheard prices. Do yourself a favor and stop by Deconinck on your way to Westvleteren / Oostvlereten as they open before either of those places do. You absolutely won't regret it.
