So we were wandering back to our car after wandering around Orillia doing a little autumn…read moresightseeing and geocaching. I spotted this store, and decided we should step in and take a look around. It's a charming little family run toy store, with a ton of selection packed into a tiny space. They had a wall of Lego, and I was immediately drawn to it. Their prices are competitive with most other places, do don't think you're having to pay a premium just for going to a small town store. The owner was really nice and welcoming, and mentioned that they had several Doctor Who toys after noticing I was wearing a Tardis hat. This is definitely a great place to browse at, whether or not you have kids or are just a big kid at heart like I am.

We went into this store, and initially the cashier wasn't very helpful in showing us specific products based on our needs, however she ended up redeeming herself, where after we purchased a gift bag and some paper, she helped us put the present together and made it look professionally wrapped for no extra charge. I'd definitely return to this venue, if I needed materials for wrapping a present.

They wanted to charge me another $100 for the adapter and told me the piece would not play Christmas Carols without the electrical adapter. I did not buy the adapter because I thought $100 was too much and since when do you have to buy the adapter separately when you buy something like this. 2021 I searched on line to try to find the adapter and found out you don't need it to play the Christmas carols and it should come with the piece. Their employee lied to me. She is no longer there so I can not go back to the store and get an adapter. I also no longer have my bill to prove I bought it there. I should have gone to the manager at the time but I assumed she was taking her direction from the manager. I still want the adapter because it doesn't stay on very long with batteries. You have to keep turning it back on. Not sure why it shuts the lights off so soon. Otherwise this store is usually pretty good. Good selection of cards and lots of other unique pieces like this beautiful centerpiece.
