We were a party of five with no reservations. We were told to pick any spot on the outdoor deck as the inside was booked. No problem. We sat in the far corner spot of the deck and it was wonderful. We are not used to people smoking in a restaurant, so sitting in the back was ideal for being away from the smoke. Great service and great food!

They were so friendly and they served us great local wine while we waited for the kitchen to fire up (again we showed up before the restaurant was actually suppose to open.) It was not only the best service I've received here in Germany but also the best German food I've had here. Excellent fresh regional food, it was a shame I didn't take my family here when they came to visit. A perfect representation of what German food should be. The atmosphere of the restaurant as we ate was beautiful, we sat in the courtyard surrounded by beautiful plants, flowers, trees, and winery antiques. This is the first time I've taken the time to make a review on this website, that shows you how excellent my experience was.

Die patzige, misshandelnde Jedienung hat mir "....sh*t" direkt ins Gesicht gesagt sowie etwas wie, "Du kommst bei mir nicht ins Haus". Fuer 14 Euro plus bekam ich so eine Unverschaemtheit abserviert. Uebrigens lassen sich die anderen, ruepelhaften Jaeste etwas zum Wuenschen uebrig. Nie wieder obwohl ich mich fuer 4 Wochen in Burrweiler aufhalte.
