They truly are concerned about pets. I have so much positive to say about Rhonda and Second Chance…read morefor Homeless Pets. I've adopted three kittens from them. The kittens were always very well taken care of and you could tell that they came from quality foster homes. Very reasonable, adoption fees, spayed, and neutered and current on vaccinations. I've also had the pleasure of fostering kittens with Second Chance. The owner does what she says and supplies you with everything you need to take care of the animals. The commitments are not long and she is able to take the animals back as promised and on time. I recently was in there, and there was a woman trying to adopt a dog. It was obvious the woman did not have a home. The owner was not going to allow the woman to adopt the dog because she did not have a safe place for the dog to live. Although the woman was very upset, the owner was very professional and kind as she explained that she could not in good conscience adopt a pet out that didn't have a safe environment. percent she is concerned about the welfare of the animals. I will always refer people to them whether they're in the market to adopt an animal or if they're interested in fostering or volunteering there it's a great place with low overhead and a lot lot of love.!

What a cute little farm!!!…read more My husband and I wanted to take our 1 year old son to see some farm animals up close since we were in the area last Friday. We didn't have a lot of expectations given the reviews on here but we figured we check it out for our son. We were pleasantly surprised how much fun we had! When we walked in, we were greeted by the nice staff and volunteers who told us the $4 entrance fee goes towards donations to help feed, house, and care for all the animals. We also learned that they're rescue animals. They have a variety of farm animals to feed and pet including a donkey, ponies, sheep, goats, cows, and chickens. They offer a punch card when you purchase grains to feed the animals too. Our son had so much fun with the animals. He smiled and laughed in excitement which put a huge smile on our face. Keep in mind that the farm is small but they are working hard to expand for everyone of all ages. There's a cute little rollercoaster and pony carousel. They even have a small Wild West theme town for the kids to play on. We had a great time on the farm. Definitely recommend checking this place out. We will be sure to come back again.

We came for a visit and got to let baby cows, rabbits, and check out the alpacas and pigs. We also let the kids go for pony rides around Gardner village. We had a great time and will be back. I just really wish the staff wore masks. Nobody but us was masked, even the handlers taking the kids on the horses.

Our tour guide was…read morefantastic and cracked jokes the entire way through, all while explaining all the critical aspects of the Ronald McDonald House Foundation. It's truly an amazing organization that focuses on family and does so much good, especially for those struggling financially. Some highlights I found that were good to know include: Cost is $15 per night for a family medicaid coverage (all states cover this fee except Utah Medicaid). The only families who qualify would need to reside at least 35 miles away. Over 22,000 families were served in the first year alone, but in order to stay here, families need to be referred by social worker and have a thorough background check. They do not allow early room reservations to prevent turning away a family in need that could have had an empty room that gets cancelled. There is a 25 cent coke machines in community room. Due to enterovirus, kids under 14 and not inpatient cannot stay. But they do allow visiting guests. I'd recommend any organization that is looking to donate to a charity to consider the Ronald McDonald House. There are also many ways to volunteer, so definitely look into it--whether you're a chef, story-time expert, or OCD cleaner!

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and always made us feel welcome.
