Found this cute corner store while strolling in Paris, on our way to Moulin Rouge. Lots of well made products. Too bad we were behind schedule as I wanted to spend more time. Stop on by if you're in the neighborhood. read more

Few websites in France cater to US customers. I don't like using a global service, which keeps so much of the money for itself. This money goes straight to the local florist. The flowers were just spectacular and my best friend was so happy! We will be using them again.

They almost seemed unreal! I like to buy flowers on vacation to make my stay feel more luxurious, and I think they really make a place feel more like a home. 7 Euros (about $10) bought us three of the largest blood-red, most perfect peonies I have ever seen in my life. They even died beautifully, losing all their petals in a slow fragrant death by a kitchen window. Just gorgeous. Buying flowers here means the staff will take your bunch, arrange it into a bouquet for you, wrap plastic and paper in a such a way as to strategically show them off while protecting them during travel. For such a simple, small thing it was a fun tourist experience and likely one of the best flower buying experiences ever.

The gentleman who assisted me did speak limited English and he wasn't exactly the most talkative but he gave me free reign to choose whatever roses I wanted and he did a great job arranging the bouquet. It REALLY helps if you at least make an effort to speak French, even just to say hello. Note: The florist let me know that they only carry French-grown roses in the spring and summer seasons but they import from Ethiopia during off seasons

Walked in and there were three employees, one on the phone who didn't even look up when I walked by, no one responded to my friendly bonjour, the two others didn't look that busy but didn't acknowledge me as I walked around and looked at prepared items, potted items, or cut flowers. Staying polite, I said au revoir, no response. I went to other stores and received great service so it's not as if I was looking skeevy! All I can assume is that they are just unfriendly. So no business from me! They certainly didn't seem to want it.

After selecting a bouquet, the florist encouraged us to reconsider as, "that particular bouquet [wouldn't] last much longer." Her honesty floored us (we ARE Americans, after all!!). It was one of my most memorable service interactions during my two weeks there. We settled on a beautiful, pale pink bouquet of ranunculas and clear glass vase. I get bouquets of flowers here fairly often, both for myself and as gifts (for friends, my landlord, etc.) and I'm always happy with my purchase. They do lovely arrangements and have a nice way of wrapping the bouquets to make them look neat and put together. The service is usually very nice. For one bouquet I was buying as a gift, one of the employees helped me pick a complimentary flower to go with the yellow tulips I had (a great suggestion of Freesias). I was very pleased and so was my friend! Usually though, I browse around outside before making my selection and going in to pay where the women are always very polite. Overall, I think they have a wide variety of great options at a variety of prices-- flowers for any occasion really!
