Got the quote and sent all the paperwork back. Was told I had not signed the quote (this was handwritten and scanned, so I missed the signature line however I signed everything else) Was told that they'd send me a docusign agreement via email. They also told me that even if I didn't get the email to sign that I could sign when I picked up the chairs. It never came through but I wasn't worried. Finally it arrived in email (spam) and it was not docu sign but another contract to print and sign. I printed and signed and scanned it and emailed to speed up the process. At this point I had already been charged the full amount on my card and had sent in all the paperwork sent to me. All I had to do was pick up. Three days before my event they called me to say they did not have the chairs I paid for. They told me they hadn't held them for me because they didn't have my signature. I told them I had sent in everything and have a voicemail that says "don't worry if you can't get the quote signed, we can do it on Friday when you pick up"-they had no response other than sorry nothing we can do, we don't have the chairs. They asked if I wanted black and I did no I specifically wanted white. Asked if I wanted plastic and I said no I wanted white. (Note-I started the process weeks before needing the chairs and did everything they asked. I was even told sometimes documents go to spam or don't go through but don't worry.) Finally she tells me "well let me see what I can do I'll call you back in a few minutes"-she never calls back. In the meantime I called another place and was able to book what I needed over the phone with no issues. I called All season back and said forget it and was told "we can check our Rochester store"-why wasn't that the first option I was given???? Not only did she not call me back within a few minutes, but she clearly wasn't trying to fix the problem. I have a feeling they got a bigger order and decided my ten chairs wasn't important. Definitely don't recommend, horrible customer service.

I cannot say enough great things about Barbara. I had a destination wedding at Niagara Falls and I…read moredid a lot of planning long distance by myself, so unfortunately looking for a makeup/hair artist was further down on my to do list. To give you an idea on how crunch my time was, I flew into Buffalo Wednesday evening and drove to Niagara Falls, ON on Thursday to see the venue and to meet up with our wedding photographer for the first time. My wedding photographer gave me two of his trusted contacts and I contacted them immediately that Thursday. I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone but left my contact number. When I haven't heard from anyone Friday morning I started researching for makeup artists nearby. Luckily I found Dollface, and they had great google reviews from previous clients and it was nearby! I looked on their website and was pleasantly surprised to see VERY VERY reasonable prices listed. I hate how a lot of other hair/makeup places never list their prices and forces you to call for pricing. I base my decisions on pictures and other client's reviews, so I don't need to speak with sales people to try to convince to pick them. Planning a wedding is stressful already and I don't like having to make frivolous unnecessary calls when prices could easily be listed. I was up super early at 7am so I didn't call but left a message on their website and was planning on calling when they open. To my surprise, Barbara called me within the hour said she can squeeze me in Saturday morning before her other appointments. Jackpot! I realize that I am very very lucky to book an appointment the day before my wedding. Barbara sent me a confirmation email with detailed instructions on how to get to her salon and pricing details again. Very professional! I was able to relax and enjoy the rest of the day. Saturday morning...THE DAY! My sister and I arrived 15 minutes early and Barbara was ready to go! She was very pleasant and easy to talk to and I didn't feel uncomfortable to voice my likes or dislikes. Being from Asian decent I have tiny eyes and my one big request is that I wanted her to make my eyes big and she delivered! A lot of my Asian friends tend to go to other Asian artist for makeup because unlike Caucasian features, over applying eye shadow and eye liner can actually make the eyes look smaller. Barbara did a fantastic job balancing where the eye shadow needs to be darker and where it needs to be lightened to enhance my eyes. Not to mentioned, she if one of the few artists that I found who uses airbrush makeup! Airbrush makeup is a must have! It lasts ALL DAY LONG! My skin is weird, where in the early morning it is dry but by the afternoon and late evening my T-zone is super oily. With airbrush makeup, all I needed to do was dab away the oil and I'm good to go! Candace the hair stylist arrived an hour later and did my hair. She was very funny and easy to speak to as well. I showed her a photo of what I wanted (loose curls swooped to the side) and she got started right away. Barbara was there and gave her opinion and pointed out loose curl that needed to be pinned up. I felt very grateful that both Candace and Barbara were there to make my vision come true but they also provided their expert opinion on what would look better. I would absolutely recommend Dollface to any other procrastinating bride out there :D

Wow, what an amazing experience. We went to an SE2 silent disco event and we were blown away at…read morehow cool the experience was. If you have never attended a SE2 silent disco you are definitely missing something. Here's how a silent disco works. You are given headphones when you enter the event. These headphones have three channels red, green and blue. Each channel has different music played on each channel from three different DJ's. You have a switch on the side of your headphones to switch between channels and when you do the color of your headphones changes to the corresponding channel, so your friends and others know what channel you are listening to. The whole setup is amazing with lights and lasers. It's fun to see people dancing with no external music being played. Everyone we were with, had the best time. We have been to several SE2 events since our first and each event is better than the last. SE2 would be the only silent disco event company I would trust. They have always put on an excellent experience each time we have attended. Keep up the excellent work! See you soon.

You check in and get light-up headphones. The headphones have volume control, and a toggle switch to choose between three stations. The stations color-coordinate to the three DJs who are spinning the music. You can flip between the three channels as you wish. All the music is heard through the headphones only, hence "Silent" Disco. We were at the Silent Disco events at the Music is Art festival at Riverworks in September, and the November Free First Fridays at Albright Knox. After two times experiencing Silent Disco, I'm certain that "Oh hot damn, this is my jam"--SO. MUCH. FUN!!! Granted, I love to go out dancing, so it's right up my fun-alley. Both events we attended were family friendly, and our kids (ages 9 and 12) had a blast, too. They're requesting to go again! I love having three channels to choose from. You know how when you're out dancing, and the DJ plays a song that's not your fave and it kinda kills your mojo? That's far more unlikely to happen at Silent Disco, since you can flip to a different song. Also, anytime your ears need a sec away from the loud music, just pop off your headphones or lower your own volume control. You are totally in control of what you hear. Is it strange being in a room full of dancing people that is essentially silent? Surprisingly enough, not really. I suppose to onlookers it may seem silly. But when you're a part of the party, dancing in silence was no problem at all, not for me anyway. I don't have much of a problem dancing at any party, though; I'm usually the one to get it started and to shut it down. ;-) So if you're a bit shy, it may take some courage to get moving, but I highly recommend you set your inhibitions aside and just cut a rug in silence. A quick search of Facebook and Yelp events will probably pull up other SE2 Silent Disco happenings coming up at various venues across the 716. They are usually free or inexpensive, and some are all-ages. My only complaint is that there aren't more family events, as most are late-night at a bar. But that gives me a reason to insist on a Silent Disco date night with the hub'ster, so I can't complain too much. Thanks SE2 for bringing this incredibly fun, unique experience to WNY!
