My massage was nice although I had to tell the lady to back off a little with the pressure. At the end I paid my bill and the rep told me I had to pay $10 tip. Now I would have gladly given a tip but I don't typically tip on my card. I usually leave cash. After the woman refused to listen to what I was trying to tell her about leaving a cash tip she ran to get her manager. The manager then described that we have to leave a tip. I politely schooled them on the how gratuity works and then left the premises, after of course paying my bill. I will watch my cc statement just to be sure no extra charges are there. Called the owner of the salon the day before who seemed enthusiastic about myself and partner booking a couples massage only to have the next day be an uncomfortable experience. If you are LGBTQ I highly recommend avoiding this establishment. I walked in with my girlfriend and stated we were there for a couples massage. The woman up front was rude and questioning that we were together. I reiterated we were there for a couples massage where she led us to two different rooms, not what a couples massage would be. She then asked if I had cash and when I stated I had my credit card she became rude and defensive, instructing me to go use the atm. A group of women who I assume work there as well came out and looked at us and began speaking another language. We were treated as an inconvenience and not welcomed whatsoever. After being uncomfortable the entire time, we left. the discrimination and uncomfortable experience is truly disappointing, especially in this day and age. read more
