They were supposed to be almond shaped. Not only did he file the nails too skinny on the sides, but he didn't paint the full nail, they were filed jagged not smoothe, there was nail polish all over the skin, and he tore up her cuticles and made them bleed. This was THE worst nail job I've ever seen by a "professional." Even after we requested he smoothe out the nails, they still looked horrible. We left with her nails looking like a child did them. I could have done a better job. We will go back, but we will steer clear of the guy touching our nails.

The salon also used a combo of gel and powder dip. So, I called Tips and Toes to see if they could fix my nails. Bottom line: they were great! They took great care of my nails! Ava was awesome. I wish she lived waaaay closer to my hometown of Malibu, California because this has seriously been the best nail job I have ever had.
