I was meeting with a childhood/elementary school friend for lunch at Pedritos (review to follow) and didn't realize it was located in a mall. Well... THIS MALL.
I thought it was pretty convenient that it's located literally next door to the San Carlos Town Center. Rather than seeing it as competition, I thought it more a great idea to have both located in one place!
It's pretty similar to most small malls you see: eateries, shopping, stalls and the like. What separates this place from the one next door is that this one has a movie theater.
As a kid growing up in this city, a movie theater was unheard of here. You'll have to go to Dagupan for that. But now, here it is available to whoever wants to get that kind of experience!
(They only show 1 or two movies at a time, but hey! Better than nothing!)
I got to walk around and see all the stores and stalls. I hate that I'm so limited to the amount of stuff I can bring back to the US!
I was also impressed with random staff making sure the entire place is clean of clutter. And true enough, I didn't see anything that belonged in trash can sother than what's already IN the trash cans.
Good first run! They had grub I want to eventually try. Here's hoping they're still around next time I come through! read more
