Albert Cernadas is super creepy and unprofessional. He honestly sounded like was masturbating to my voice on the other end of the phone line. Furthermore he's extremely unorganized claim he doesn't receive emails (even with time stamp confirmation of delivery). Fails to return phone calls, claims he's going to follow up at certain times & then fails to do so. Albert Cernadas has to be debriefed every single phone call and claims he "doesn't remember your case". I will be filling formal complaint regarding sexually inappropriate questions and statements. His questions portrayed racial bias, derogatory inclinations, condescending character and gender discrimination.

So essentially, I got pretty shoddy service while he got an additional $7K for not very good representation. I do not recommend.

I'm still recovering from a broken ankle and walking with a walker, I cannot move right now at all. I was given a free lawyer by the city, but he didn't seem to care at all about my case. I had no choice but to drop him and hire Michael. I attached a picture of that Lawyer's reaction Apparenly Michael's made quite a name for himself!!! He struck a deal giving me free rent for the rest of the year, because he is a meticulous hero who found a flaw in my landlord's paperwork. He is a bloodhound! The first time I hired him (2016), he found a flaw in the paperwork my landlord filed to make it no longer a rent stabilized unit. I could have stayed with extremely cheap rent for the rest of my life, but I could not deal with the landlord who worked right downstairs anymore and left with a settlement instead. He really cares and pays close attention to your case. His fees are also extremely reasonable, not charging you a half an hour for a quick text message etc. This man is like a pitbull that was trained to landlords. I love him

Being as we were first-time buyers, and that we were doing a condo closing and not a co-op, the closing process was expensive and intimidating. Also, we were working with a sponsor or developer in a new construction, and they were out to do as little work to the place as possible, accommodate as few of our requests/punchlist, etc. Tim did a great job of not only coordinating with their lawyers and getting as much as humanly possible out of these guys, but also kept us up to speed with what was happening, explaining everything very simply along the way. When it came time to go to the closing table, of course last minute items arose with items we could have never anticipated - storage space not according to offering plan, a crack in the floor that came up out of nowhere seemingly, etc. Tim was negotiating until the last moment and even had ammendments to the offering plan written and co-signed that day at the table. He helped us make really tough decisions about what to let go and what to stick to as far as necessary credits, etc. He was great. At the end of the day, we walked away with a good condo at a great cost, rolling our closing costs into the mortgage and getting credits for items in our punchlist that they refused to fix or remedy. Overall we were really pleased with Tim and would certainly recommend him to anyone as a lawyer in generally, but especially with our specific experience with regard to real estate closings.
