I have been going to millionhairs for some time now and I felt as I need write this up for others…read moreto see, since going here I understood millionhairs extremely poor customer service. The staff's and owner/manager janine Cartwright are disrespectful, speak bad of other customers whilst getting my hair done I overheard one stylist say "stupid asian lady" and felt very uncomfortable as I am from that background too. No staff member should show discrimination towards clients and talk very disrespectful towards clients behind their backs. As a customer who's been going regularly Im sick of the language the staff are speaking especially in front of other customers. Hair salons are not just a place to get your hair done but it should also be a place to relax and enjoy your time there, I do not enjoy my time there neither have my friends and sister who have also complained about the staffs poor attitude. I rung up to Cancel my appointment as i was unwell, i wasn't made aware of the cancellation policy when first came to salon, and was told now that i had to pay a deposit. When asked why I received rude attitude from the receptionist called Julie, when I spoke to janine Cartwright who is the manager/owner, her attitude was even worse. No apology and when i told her about the way her staff speaks about customers she said "that's your opinion", it's not my opinion where staff are talking behind customers back saying that stupid asian lady and other things that I feel uncomfortable to write, she didnt solve the matter and when asked her if it's ok for her staff to speak to me like that she again defended them. Me and my family/friends will not be going back to a very disrespectful salon. Staff and manager have no sympathy for clients and no understanding of how to be professional.

Every member of staff is knowledgeable, friendly and extremely talented; Danny and Adam are nothing short of miracle workers. Levels of hygiene are excellent and prices very reasonable, and I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

Like the several other shops of this type in Leeds they also stock false eyelashes, nails, makeup, nail varnish, hair accessories, curlers, hair products and hair styling electrical goods such as hair dryers, curlers and straighteners. Despite the vast array of hair related products to cram into limited space, the products are neatly displayed and allow for easy browsing. They are also reasonably cheap in price. Ladies (or gents) who aspire to have long, thick, luscious locks will love this place and are sure to find something to add to their mane!

At Renaissance Hair in Leed, I received what can only be described as five star client service! I was late for my appointment and they were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Liz stepped in to cut my hair which was a restyle and she did a fantastic job, providing exactly what I asked for and it's a long time since I walked away from z salon with a genuine smile on my face. They are a little pricey, but I didn't mind paying as the cut, and their treatment of me was worth every penny. I will definitely be back soon. Give them a try, I'm convinced you'll also walk away happy!!! 10/10 from me!

While living in Leeds, I've flitted from salon to salon on a budget, never really ending up completely happy with my haircut or hairdresser. One day after looking at Google reviews, I decided to give Renaissance a try, and boy am I glad I did! I was booked in with George, who asked me loads of questions about what I wanted, what I did and didn't like about my hair, how I style it, etc. George was really friendly, offered to get me a drink (including wine or beer - how good is that?!), and just completely made me feel at ease. I was really happy with my hair when George had finished - it looked exactly like I had in mind. I've been back several times now and been really happy each time, it finally looks like I can stop flitting from salon to salon! It wasn't expensive either, though I think it's recently increased to around £34.

Also when i was getting my hair cut there was an argument with a female customer and the manager/boss i couldn't believe my eyes when this man the manager/boss started shooting at the top of his voice "get the Fword out of my salon I am not going to give you a Fword-ing penny back", the girl was getting more upset and hysterical , i thought that some of the older stylists who worked in the salon would of stepped in to try and calm the situation down but no, they seemed to be afraid and looked away ignoring argument, then the man steeped in very close in a threatening behaviour and seemed to push his head against her forehead and forcibly push her away, the poor girl turned and left the salon while he uttered "Don't Fword-ing come back". I asked my stylist what was all that about, she said "shush don't say anything" with an intense fear on her face.
