I waited a couple of months before writing my review to make sure I still felt the same way and I do. I love the murals and the bright colors throughout the building. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I've had to do maintenance requests and they've always come the following day to fix it. My requests were for minor issues too, like a kitchen light out and the Dwelo app not working. I haven't had any major problems at all. This complex is very pet friendly and there are lots of pets here which I love. They're adding new amenities like a dog spa, outdoor kitchen, and bike storage. I've been here since November and there's been multiple activities, like brunch, food trucks, paint night, and massages. I would have given five stars except for two issues. One is the thinness of the walls. My neighbor must have their TV on the other side of my bedroom wall and they evidently like to keep their volume at 100. There's nothing the staff can really do about that, but it is something I would change. The other thing is the parking garage. The way it is set up, a lot of the turns are blind turns. You would think this would make people drive slowly around the turns, but they just zip on through. Again, nothing the staff can do about that; it's the way the garage is structured. Overall though I really like Mag & May and I'm glad I moved here.

How can drivers see this and read the information when coming through the garage entry gate??

Be sure your visitors register their cars online at apartmentpermit.com IMMEDIATELY upon parking in the visitor designated parking on the 6th floor of the garage. Visitor cars within an hour or two of being parked, and it's over $290 to get your car back. No time to get settled in, and God forbid your exhausted guest falls asleep before taking care of the online registration. The sign at the gate on the first floor is pictured. How would anyone have enough time to read the sign while coming through the gate? There is no signage on the 6th floor regarding towing policies as evidenced by the accompanying photos. Here is the response from Mag&May Management: "I understand this is frustrating, however they were only doing what they were instructed to do. Multiple notices and emails have been sent regarding the parking policy. It's also explained in the parking addendum that was signed. We wish there was more that we could do." Right. As there was only 1 other car parked on the entire roof, let alone in visitor parking, so no residents were being inconvenienced by the single car parked in visitor parking that was towed. There is not a lack of parking for residents. Parking for residents at Mag & May is not in jeopardy at all. The car was towed less than 2 hours after it was parked.

Great place to live and close to all the Magnolia attractions. The office and maintenance staff are super friendly. Also, they are quick to respond with answers to questions and complete ant maintenance requests.

***** UPDATE JUNE 2019****…read more Unfortunately I had to move away from 4000 Hulen and my current apartment isn't anywhere near the level of 4000 Hulen's quality. It's not just the location and building amenities, it's the customer service that starts from the general manager and permeates through the rest of the staff. If you've lived in apartments for any length of time you know it's a crapshoot finding a good one. I strongly urge you to visit this place. Best apartment complex I've ever lived in. Is it perfect? No. But it checks all the boxes. Go see why Andree and her team are the best in Fort Worth!! ***UPDATE JUNE 2018*** It's been over two years since my original review and wanted to check in and say 4000 Hulen is still the best place to rent in town. They recently had an ownership change. However the new company was smart and kept the staff intact, so the amazing level of service that we've grown accustomed to stayed the same. We searched a lot of different apartments before we chose to move in here back in 2016, and it is still the best decision we made. **************************************************************************************************************************** ***UPDATE JULY 2016*** We wanted to update our initial review with more thoughts about our experience living at 4000 Hulen. If you are looking for an apartment complex to live in then this is the one. Look no further or add 4000 Hulen to your list of complexes to research. We have never lived in an apartment complex with a more attentive, friendly, and caring staff. Every single person that is on the staff here is AMAZING. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, the leasing agents are knowledgeable and caring, the housekeeping is PHENOMENAL, and the apartment manager is down to earth and incredible. The pool is well kept. There is a dog park that is exclusive to 4000 Hulen residents. The apartment gym is well stocked with a variety of equipment. And there is a covered parking garage for residents to park in. They also have a Starbucks coffee machine in the resident lounge area. You press a button and it grinds the beans for your coffee and then brews it on the spot. It's included as part of the perks for living at 4000 Hulen. You won't find a machine like this at any other apartment complex in Fort Worth. 4000 Hulen isn't the least expensive apartment option nor is it the most expensive. But just like everything in life you get what you pay for. The location, the amenities, the staff, and the price point all make this the best apartment complex in the Fort Worth area. ************************************************************************************************************************ ORIGINAL REVIEW: After living in 4000 Hulen for a few months we thought we'd share a review of our experiences. First off, the office staff and employees here are amazing. Everybody is friendly and happy and are always willing to help in whatever way needed. Every interaction that we've had with them has been positive and cheerful. The location of the apartment complex is perfect. We're basically right smack in between Central Market and Trader Joes on Hulen. We're trying to maintain a healthier lifestyle and easy access to both of those stores really helps when we're looking for quality food(s). Access to the Trinity Trails is a short drive away from here as well, we take our doggies for walks and it's less that a 5 min drive away. In addition, the TCU campus is a 7-10 min drive away depending on the traffic. We selected an apartment on a higher floor and couldn't be more satisfied. The noise level is minimal. Sometimes we forget we are in an apartment because we don't hear any noise from our neighbors. The apartments were constructed recently and you can tell they didn't skimp on the wall materials. The only noise we do hear is from the train station but that just becomes background noise and is tuned out after a day or so. The 4000 Hulen dog park is phenomenal. Our two little dogs love to go and play and frolic with the other apartment dogs in the dog area that is exclusive to 4000 Hulen. They even provide doggie bags for picking up after your dogs! The closets are huge, the showers are roomy, and the kitchen area is laid out great for making home made meals. We have an island with storage so we can keep our pots and pans handy, and the double sink is deep and spacious. Every entrance to the apartment is secure. We have a fob that gives us access to exterior doors and also to the entrance gate. Lastly my favorite part of the apartment is the view. Our apartment faces Hulen and we can see the downtown Fort Worth skyline and the TCU campus clearly. The TCU football stadium is lit up at night and we can see the Brown-Lupton Union building's purple light at night as well. Overall we are EXTREMELY satisfied apartment dwellers. No doubt there are a lot of options for living acc

I've moved out from all my previous apartments across the country and have never charged more than $100 before - Although I have missed something, even if I double-checked, there's no way I left a bag of trash inside. I had a negative living experience here. The external fan could be very noisy, I would advise double check if there are any external fans, especially if you choose the first floor. I have multiple outside my window, and I had to move my bed to living room for weeks, the maintenance is quick to respond, but after two fixes, the noise is still evident. Video for the fan noise: https://youtube.com/shorts/Ymyrzc1tbho?feature=share The heater is inefficient due to its age, I was charged very high electricity fee for a 1-bedroom apartment. Also please be noticed some units don't have washer and dryer installed, you need to spend additional ~$45 per month to rent one, which they did not mention before signing. On a positive note, the staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. This is not a complaint against any specific staff member. The location is good and the apartment is true to size.
