Jarrod is an excellent barber and is one of the few barbers I've found that does perfect military flat tops. Jarrod is a super nice guy and I highly recommend having a haircut here. The one thing missing is no straight razor for the sides and back. The foil shaver is not the same nor does it give the authentic barber experience that I really enjoy. So perfect haircut yet no straight razor shave. It 5 stars if I could get this here. read more

Madison Square Barber is a 3 generation barbershop serving Oneida as long as I can remember. I'm 64 and I remember the original shop across from Oneidas Municipal Building when I was a teen! Moving to Madison Street and across from the Police Station it's easy to find with lots of parking. I'm writing this review because I noticed they didn't have any reviews. The reason I'm sure is many clients are older and are computer illiterate!lol With that said it's a professionally run business that gives me the best haircuts that are very reasonably priced. Been going here for years, and have known the family for thirty plus years. I got my hair cut here in March and talking about this COVID stuff and next thing I know closed! Then found out they reopened in May, and got back in the chair a few days ago. It's like going home getting my hair cut there. Not just my barber but a friend.
