Here's my deal…read more I called to make an appointment to get my car detailed after seeing the yelp deal for 50% off the Ultimate Detail. I told him I had the coupon, what my car was and when I'd bring it. He told me it would take 2 hours-no kids, pretty clean car. I gathered my ride, planned the pickup time (I had to be at court later), and dropped it then. First off, when you go to the garage, it's not entirely clear where to pull it in (across from Jimmy Johns, "Reserved" entrance). Found that, but then I didn't know how to open the gate. I called Rocky at the Wash, but was holding up all the traffic. You have to push the button and the operator will open it. Ok, that's done. I get there but the owner, Rocky, wasn't there. I left my keys in the drop box, assuming he knew the appointment. Fast forward 2 hours. When I called, he said it would be ready at 11:45. After getting my ride to take me up there again, I hand the coupon for a DETAIL over, "that'll be $12.50", "huh?", and turns out all they actually did was wash the outside. What?! Called my ride, he turned around and came back to get me. I wasn't going to miss this opportunity for a good detail! I called again at 3:30 and he said I could come get the car. After hanging out at Starbucks for a while, I headed over. They insisted it was ready. Check out the photos, was it ready? $125 detail job ready? I planned my whole day around this, as I don't work downtown. The outside wash/wax gets a 4.5/5. There were still very dirty areas related to the outside but they were inside doors. But this is an expensive detail! Wax job was lovely, however. The inside left a lot to be desired. Mud was still in a few spots on the seats (when I got home I wiped it off with a cloth...), dirty cup holders, dirty door handle, dirty glove box, etc etc etc. See photos. Who would pay $125 for this? Not me. I'll be back to my regular General Grant Car Wash for a $20 wash/wipe and splurge on the $50 express detail which is much better than this! Maybe I didn't leave it long enough, maybe because I had a coupon (I told him I was reviewing), maybe they didn't like my car or I didn't look rich enough (I have $$ to spend, folks). I have no idea. For those that work downtown, you might have a better relationship but new-comers, I'd go somewhere else.

I went to 3 other local shops for a quote and no one took care of me the way Freer did. Called the insurance of the person who hit me to get me answers, helped adjust my bumper before I left their lot to make it a bit better for me to drive (without me even asking, might I add). They used Carwise which texted me updates on timeline and estimates. Called me and coordinated with insurance/rental car like no other. My repair ended up taking about a week longer than expected. More damage was found but it was clearly communicated to me that it was possible, and they gave me an update each step. They even had an after hours pick up which worked perfect for my schedule. Left me a card and a beautiful rose (such as kind touch). My car was clean and shiny on the outside (sad it won't last long due to all the snow and salt) with the inside vacuumed and smelling great! Truly can't recommend Freer enough. Kind, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and truly excellent service. I will trust Freer with all auto body repairs going forward!

I have taken my 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 to Perfect Finish for several years. Not once was I unhappy. If there were a problem, Steve would quickly address the issue, and a resolution was provided. I was sadden when I discovered that the shop was sold. It was nice to have a place to take my car in for mechanical issues. My A/C began to show signs of wear. I purchased all my OEM parts myself. Dan performed the removal and installation of a new compressor, Condenser, Upper and Lower section hoses, and dryer. The only issue that I encountered is that the upper radiator hose clamp was not tight enough, and leaked all over my engine. A simple mistake that was quickly rectified. I find it very difficult in finding a reputable, reliable auto repair center in my area. Prior, I used to take my car to the Honda Dealerships in O'Fallon, and ST. Louis. After proven problems with the dealership in O'Fallon, I will never take my car there again. As far as ST. Louis, they made a mistake that they thought I would not noticed. Guess what, I did. However, they made good on their promise to fix the issues. It's really sad when I see Auto Repair shops in our area that resemble junk yards. Car scatter throughout the parking lot, car hoods left ajar for months.

Got our car back 8/11/20 and vehicle still wasn't fixed engine light came back on driving it home so we took it back per Don because "mechanic missed something" so we take it back that same day get our car back 8/13/20 low and behold still having issues so my husband calls back and they say take it back Monday which would be on 8/17/20 so they can fix it. Mind you this would be the THIRD TIME first time we were charged $450 second time $168 and probably another hundred something when we take it back. I feel like they are intentionally missing parts so we can take it back so we can pay for labor the first time as you can see we paid $400 for labor the second time we paid $150 for labor. So we are on the hunt for a different mechanic since apparently they can't fix the problem and "that specific code wouldn't show up till the other codes were fixed because the other codes hide codes" per Don again UPDATE: 8/14/20 the first visit they "tightened a knuckle in the steering wheel" my husband drove it to work this morning the turn signal now turns on the high beams and lets out smoke so instead of fixing one issue they caused more issues..
