Made To Clean & NallimCam Owner Jack MacMillan is incredibly intimidating and unprofessional to staff. He threatens his employees with wage deductions in the event they are robbed. Does not explain his contract or provide proper training. Refuses to pay labour even when the employee is still on the clock. Example: you are training and take "10 minutes too long" due to traffick or poor parking explanations for client locations. Jack believes you are not entitled to be paid. If you work for him, ensure you write down all of your hours. He does not provide WHMIS training despite having cleaners working with heavy chemicals. And does not allow non-slip shoes. He is very threatening, for example stating if you accidentally break one of his "expensive" vacuums you will also have that amount ($700) deducted from your wages. For a company that claims to have such a high volume of customers, income and insurance - it seems incredibly predatory to continuously threaten staff with these things. Especially when he claims to hire mostly young single mothers. He uses connections with clients as leverage to try to intimidate new hires- stating to me he knew many powerful people so I should watch my back and that he has taken several people to court before if I had a problem with him taking money from me. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable in less than 3 days. BEWARE. read more

Horrible service. The owner is crooked, takes advantage of the vulnerable. When a job should only take 1 hour he slaps on 2 hour just to get more money. The girls are great but he is awful. He shouldnt even be an owner read more

I was shocked to read the bad review, and I completely disagree. I have been a client of Made to Clean for 13 years! I can't even count the times that the owner has showed up at my house, to ensure his staff members are cleaning to the company standards. My 90 year old mother lives with me and the owner always ensures not only her safety, but he shows great care when he comes and visits with her. I have never been forced to pay for two hours, although that is a standard for every cleaning company. He has considered my personal situation, he is professional, respectful, honest, kind, caring, and has never taken advantage of the "vulnerable". I am 66 years old and consider my mother and I members of a vulnerable population. The owner has consistently provided excellent service through his staff, and when he hasn't had enough staff, he has come to clean himself! I strongly endorse Made to Clean! If you're looking for a professional cleaning company, Made To Clean is it. The staff are polite, trustworthy, courteous and efficient. They've done both routine cleaning and a deep clean for me, and the quality has been absolutely wonderful. The price is very fair (I called around) and the value of their work is unbeatable. I recently moved from my condo to a one bedroom apartment. it's almost 600 square feet. I have been trying for months to find a cleaner. I found one company that said they need three hours to clean. II'm not sure what they did in those three hours because some things were neglected and others were done poorly that you could see the streaks on the glass closet doors and the floors were streaky too. I gave them three tries and I was never satisfied. I found Razzle Dazzle through my search and Callie came to do the job. Like I said Callie did an excellent job. glass doors shine, and no streaks on the floor. You could almost see yourself in the floor and it only took her two hours by herself and nothing was neglected. I highly recommend her and Razzle Dazzle. I've already booked my next clean.
