Casual pizza joint with great pizza! The crust is amazing. Tastes like something from a bakery, not like the leather you get from other pizza places. The service is top notch. When we visited in person, they were more than happy to accommodate our super weird half-and-half order. Their sauce is really good and I even like their sausage which is usually a no-go for me. Recently, we had an issue with a to go order. I sent a message on their FB page and the manager called us immediately to get everything straightened out. Service has taken a big hit these days so having someone actually care about us and our experience was really nice. I have worked in pizza shops a good part of my life, I have been a customer for nearly all my life.I have never been told that you had to have exact change when getting delivery, I have never heard of a driver not having change not even during the heart of Covid. I was ordering $22.50 worth of food, $4.00 of it was a delivery charge. I had a $20 and a $10. At the end of me ordering he asked if it would be cash or card, when I said cash he replied by saying make sure you have exact change or the rest of the money goes to the driver........WHAT??? I have ordered delivery from all over the United States, including south central las Angeles a month ago, paid with cash received $15 in change. But a franchise pizza shop in Richmond Kentucky can't carry change for $20?????!!!!!. This is extremely extreme and you have lost a lot of business, make sure you have exact change if you don't go to big city they even deliver in Berea. read more

My fiancée wanted me to order a pizza so I placed an online order with mad mushroom of Richmond Kentucky. It said the card was declined so my fiancée checked her bank account and sure enough she was charged not once but twice. Called the store and was told they didn't have anything on their end and there was nothing they could do and to call back tomorrow to speak to the manager. So almost $60 later and... no food. We weren't certain if this place was actually functioning- looks like the address info in maps needs to be corrected and they need some pics. We WERE pleasantly surprised when we found out they are not only open, but they make some darn good pizza. Highly recommend the Alfredo Chicken Pizza- it was well balanced, not too salty, not to saucy. And, add jalapeños for a nice kick. The cheese sticks were okay, perhaps they are better for dine-in, as we had delivery. We will definitely go back when we have another pizza craving. There are so few options for non-franchise pizza here, so we're happy to have discovered this place. Delivery was a bit longer than expected. Order with enough time in mind, as 30-35 minutes may be more like 45+. read more

I ordered with a group from work. I ordered the Greek Gyro. The person that placed the order was told they no longer had that on the menu but could make it. When it came it was all bread. The Buffalo pizza which features chicken tomatoes and onions originally had me scared. Upon the wife ordering it tho I tried and wow. I order it more than she does. It's is a great combination of flavors and spicy that is simply incredible. And open late on weekends! read more

I tried the Chicken Bianco, and it was sooooo good! I traded the tomatoes for sun-dried tomatoes, and it was fantastic. My friend tried the Mad Philly with marinara, and couldn't even finish the grinder in one sitting. I read the reviews and decided to give them a try. First I want to say I went with what people that reviewed the place had suggested so I did the tripperoni and the cheesesricks. My initial bite of the pizza was not "wow this is amazing pizza". It felt very plain, not much flavor profile at all and it was slightly over baked. I would order apollos pizza over mad mushroom. The cheesesticks are supposedly their best item and they are proud of it. Guess what they tasted like cheesesticks, you can get the same ones at papa John's and probably get a better deal on them. My opinion is little Caesars is still killing that game with their Italian cheesy bread. Dont know if I want to try this place out again. A medium pizza and a small cheesestick cost $20...that's with me picking it up so add more for delivery plus your tip. read more
