As this is a new restaurant there is a promotional period and we are fortunate to tap into it. Nevertheless the waitress and the owner are happy to treat us to their best. This is not just the food but the service and the little touches that encourage people to come back. The starters is quite large, share between two or even more. The main meals are huge and we had to ask for a doggy bag as they were so good and we couldn't just leave them. We had coffee at the end of the meal...ok it was lunchtime...a glass of wine or a Mexican beer would have been nice...but we were driving and the weather was terrible. Let's be safe this time! I had chips and salsa, a staple on American tables at Mexican restaurants and I got English-Aussie chips (French fries). Tomatio "salsa" was OK. They had fresh jalapeños. The al pastor tacos were full, more meat than I think I have ever seen, but bland. Blindfolded I would have a difficult time figuring out what I was eating beyond meat.
