Today I stopped in with nearly new or brand new items, some still with tags. Mostly boutique clothing, and one item I just got earlier this week. Waited almost an hour and my name still not on the board, so asked and was told they weren't taking a thing except one pair of sneakers. They claimed all everything smelled like cat pee and I have never had a cat in my life!! The clothes were all clean and I had even misted the totes with Febreeze fabric refresher in Fresh scent this morning since they'd been in a closet. I'm not sure why they don't like clothes that smell fresh but wasted a lot of my time. Will never be back and will drive to Plato's Closet from now on.

If you ever have trouble finding parking a trick I learned is park on the back side of the mall and enter through Dick's Sports store, however, do NOT use that trick near mall closing or you will have to walk all the way around the outside of the mall to get to your car once Dick's is closed. The front of the mall is just always a challenge to find a spot and I don't get why in this small town! This isn't an uppity mall with stores like Keystone Mall in Indianapolis. This is a practical mall for the practical average shopper. I don't enjoy window shopping for stuff I won't or can't buy, and I feel those stores just flood the mall making me have to walk farther. This is one level and includes all your practical stores without flooding your way with things you don't need and would be never want to afford anyways! I do like the Limited and own a fossil watch and coach purse, but overall I keep it casual and practical. Here you can go to University Spirit, buy your Purdue gear, eat some Panera or Panda, and enjoy shopping at desirable chains that most everyone can afford. Bonus: intermittently there is a Kings Island ride simulator down by the Old Navy/ JC Penney side. Roller coasters in winter? Yes please! Bonus 2: there is a free train that sometimes drives around the mall taking moms with little kids for a joyful free ride. It's adorable!

Decent enough but lacking attention to details in common customer care, I came in for a quick pant…read moresizing for a wedding later this year. The groom informed me he was using Men's Warehouse and had already setup his order with one in Illinois where he lives. I quickly realized this was not made easy when asked by the staff for the order number and then, not having that, the groom's number to lookup his account. There was nothing. I then made casual conversation until they seemed satisfied I wasn't out to steal anything or waste time. Just for a pant sizing, two minutes later I was wearing the very pants required for the wedding, and that was that. I can't comment on value but would guess a lack of it once the groom informed me he had been told by his MW that an order number was not required for me to size. I say this is a basic oversight and lack of professionalism. Weddings are already messy and stressful enough without an Asian product sourced retailer miscommunicating what ushers and such should need for a fast size check. I was thankful to see staff present and eager to assist here. This is a great location with plenty of parking in Lafayette's newest commerce strip. But I'd sure like to see less Chinese made products at European prices.

The lady was very…read moreuninterested and really couldn't answer any questions we had and seemed annoyed. and while we waited for her to change the rest of the reservation for our groomsmen she looked up at us and pretty much said we could leave and that she would finish it. we asked her if we would get an email confirmation and she said" yeah maybe, you should ? ‍ " so we left out of there worried if anything was even done right. needless to say, that kind of attitude should not be in that kind of environment when they have to deal with parties that are usually a big deal for most ppl like ours; a wedding. also not to mention all the money that is getting spent.
