Absolutely avoid using Claire Mackey as an attorney. We would discuss one thing before court, then in court would go a completely different direction. Mid-case, and after a two year attorney/client relationship, I fired her for her inability to communicate. It would take her three plus weeks to respond to messages and only after leaving multiple messages. She also withheld her entire retainer, and actually had the audacity to leave me with a bill. There's no way she put the time into my case that she claims. Im only speaking to help others avoid the same mistake of using her as I did. his services for an auto accident I had. Month later I get a call from the other parties insurance saying that haven't heard anything from em.. Called to see what's going on and Jane, says they have no records of me. Asked for an explanation and she kept putting me off. Waited hours and still nothing. Called Ted, left voicemails with no reply. Told em to just pack sand. Auto accident are stressful and I needed help and he doesn't seem to care. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Ted Cornwall.
