Having battled my way through the Clarks shop at Lakeside/Yorkshire Outlet only to find they didn't…read morehave anything in the size I needed for my 4yr old, I thought I'd call into this tiny little branch to see what they had. And I wasn't disappointed: although it is a really small store, and very cramped (especially once we turned up with a pushchair), they seem to have a really good range of shoes. The staff were really excellent, they genuinely seemed interested in getting the right shoes for my son (although they did manage to sell the dearest ones!) and took a lot of time to make sure they were the correct fit. For a 4yr old, this sort of attention is great, especially over something like shoes that they can be a bit funny about. I'd highly recommend this particular branch of Clarks for kids shoes, mainly because they seem to be so intent on actually providing good customer service rather than just passing the time until the end of their shift which you seem to find in so many other stores.
