I explained that i was moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment. I was given an estimate for 2 movers at $100/hour The job would take 4 hours. . I was sent an invoice via email and told that I did not have to pay until movers completed the job. This was more than 2 months previous to my scheduled move date. I spoke and texted with "Jason" at least 15 times previous to my move. Confirmed and reconfirmed several times the size of my current and future apartments. The day before my move, I spoke with Jason again. Everything was good to go. He said the movers would pull up to my place at 7:30am. Day of move: Only 1 mover showed up with a truck entirely way too small at 9am. He said he expected his other mover to show up anytime. He said that I told "Jason" that 1 had a 1 bedroom apartment and was moving to a 1 bedroom apartment. I would never say that. I have never in my life lived in a 1 bedroom apartment. I was clearly upset. He said that I had a one-bedroom apartment and that's what was up on the board. he argued with me about this for about 25 minutes. He threatened to leave and refund my money because he wasn't moving a two-bedroom apartment by himself. I had already paid for and showed him the invoice of two movers at $100 an hour. He didn't want to hear any of this. Finally he calmed down, I calmed down and I had to leave to go to get my keys to my new place. My friend was there to oversee things. By the time I got back from getting my keys, the other movers still had not shown up. So this one mover filled the entire truck with most of my belongings. I asked him why he was not wrapping any of my furniture because Jason said that everything would be wrapped in plastic. He was basically just stacking Furniture and boxes on top of each other with no protection. He explained to me that they only wrapped Furniture when you're going upstairs. Makes zero sense to me since Jason had already told me that everything would be wrapped. When we arrived at my new apartment, he just kept unloading stuff and dropping it wherever he felt like dropping it. Boxes were clearly labeled for the bedroom or kitchen or dining room. I had to keep telling him that this or that box belongs in a different place. He unloaded the truck and said he had to go back for the rest. He left and when he got to my apartment to get the rest of the things, I went back there to see what was left. I told him to make sure that he grabbed all of the boxes in the laundry room, and anything left. I went to my new apartment once again. I spoke with him later on to see how things were going and he said he was waiting to hear from the owner to find out how much they needed to charge me extra because they had to come back and get the rest of my stuff. I paid for two movers at $100 an hour, only one mover showed up and he didn't bring a truck big enough. Yet, they were charging me more money and basically we're not going to bring me my things until I agreed to pay more money. He showed up at my place around 4 pm with 2 more movers who unloaded for dressers and a bed and a few boxes. I asked him if he grabbed absolutely everything including the box that was in the laundry room, a box that had brooms, mops, Etc in it, my vacuum cleaner and other things. He insisted that he did grab those things. He did not. They were still at my apartment. So he lied. At one point when he was packing the truck with the 1st load, I asked his name. He hesitated, and then said his name was Frank. Later on, I asked him again, he said a different name. Shady. so I ended up having to pay an extra $400 when they only had one mover until 4 in the afternoon. after they left, I found all kinds of things that were broken, marked up, ruined etc. all my flower arrangements were ruined. he lied and said that he got everything out of the apartment, I went back and he missed a whole bunch of things. That I had to pack the car up by myself. This is the worst moving experience I've ever had. I will never use these guys again. They ripped me off, lied to me, tried to tell me that I only ordered for a one-bedroom move instead of a two-bedroom when I know what I told them. they were just extremely Shady. I contacted the owner by text message and told him what was going on and he tried to tell me that I actually made out money-wise because if there had been two movers that would have cost me a lot more money. Makes zero sense to me. If there were 2 movers, it would've taken less time. Beware. I don't think all these reviews were done by people that this company actually moved.
