So! I am NOT a makeup girl. I may wear/apply makeup 1 time in 60 days and I stick to what I know. My outfits are always BAD AF but my makeup doesn't give the same energy. That being said, I was invited to a friends retirement brunch and she always has photographers and the guests take tons of photos; this time I wasn't missing anything. What do the kids say "she ate"? Well I wanted to EAT and be stuffed. I literally had 20 minutes to get from concourse C to concourse F and back in less than 40 min with my carry on . Mind you this was at 7 am on a Saturday. I walk into M.A.C., immediately greeted by a beautiful young lady by the name of Sonya. I explained to her my dilemma to include the time constraints. BAAABY! She went above and beyond for me. I was like "oh I only want a soft eye please". The LIES! I didn't want to be bothersome but it's like she saw the desperation in my face. She beat my face something FIERCE! I love it. It's soft, flawless, and light as a feather. She gave me what I actually needed and wanted without me having to coax her. She was so sweet, patient, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I honestly wish she worked closer to me. Fortunately for y'all she's at the ATL airport, concourse F. If you have the time by all means, go see her! She's PHENOMENAL. Thank you so much Sonja. I'm boarding my flight so I'll have to share photos a little later. read more

I think this store sells defective products. I'm not pleased with my Mahogany lip liner at all. I own at least half a dozen other MAC lip liners and I've never had the problems with those that I'm having with this one. The colored filling of the liner keeps breaking. No matter how blunt or how sharp I sharpen it, it doesn't last more than one or two applications before snapping off In fact, it sometimes it even breaks off as it's being sharpened, I bought this liner about month ago and it looks like I've had it for six months. Unacceptable. Won't be patronizing this location again. read more

Frequently travel to the Atlanta airport and one of my favorite stops is the Mac store in a concourse because I don't have a Mac store located in the city of Knoxville. It always seems to be some kind of excuse at the store but no matter what products I decide to stop and get there has never been a time that at least four of the five products that I pick up I consistently sold out there is always some level of excuse why they don't have it why they don't stock it frequently they do not have testers in the store that employees are even allowed to open it and I has a previous employee of a pro store it seems the management of the store still doesn't do anything to rectify the situation. I find it the store is often understaffed and considering the amount of traffic that frequently goes through this door I completely hold Management responsible for not taking evaluation for listening to employees concerns about being understaffed and they certainly in over two years have not addressed product concerns for testers and product availability this is 100% Management called and it should be addressed for a major international airport. read more

Terminal A The lady with the big Afro is so rude. I went in to grab some concealer real quick before my flight and she came at me so fast telling me I wasn't allowed to touch anything, okay cool I want to buy this I told her and she rudely said did you not read the sign i said yeah but it didn't say anything about buying anything there was some other directions about masks and social distance but that was it, she grabs the compact out my hand meanwhile the most ratchet looking cockroach was in there swiping lipsticks on her nasty hands being all loud and ghetto ( this is Atlanta) I just walk out and she continues helping the other black lady read more

I travel through Atlanta a ton and love MAC so I was delighted to see the beautiful new MAC store in terminal A. So disappointed that the customer service is indifferent and frankly downright terrible. Walked in on a Friday night and didn't even get a hello or for that matter an acknowledgement I was even in the store. There was one other customer in there and she was getting her makeup done. The team of at least 4 or 5 were talking, stocking the shelves and chatting behind the register. Not the quality of service I expect from MAC. read more

This is for Concourse A - I have read the other reviews and I must say MAC has listened. I was greeted immediately by Zakiya, even though she had 3 other customers who came in at the same time, she greeted everyone and helped each of us at the same time. I had no idea what I wanted and she was patient and guided me in the right direction. She was not only friendly she was extremely knowledgeable of the products. One lady was looking for an item that had been discontinued and Kiya showed her the new color that replaced it and made suggestions to find the right solution. Cannot rave enough about the excellent customer service. read more

Kalina is amazing!! She did my makeup while I was on a layover on my way to a wedding. Makeup was on point plus she gave me lots of tips on products and technique. Would def opt for another layover in atl to visit her! read more

I love the MAC in the F concourse because the sales girls are so friendly but the one in A concourse was awful. I went in just to grab a new powder to replace my old one and didn't even need to try anything on. I just let the sales lady know I needed so I could pay and be on my way out. She wasn't friendly at all, never smiled and never even made eye contact with me. Not sure if she was just having a bad day or if she thought she doesn't need to put in effort to be nice to customers since she will get commission anyway. I'll be going to the one in F from now on instead! read more

Concourse A visit today between flights. Love Mac and planned to stock up before my trip. Despite three employees and only one customer, I wasn't greeted and had to impose myself upon an employee before she would wait on me. All employees were busy "helping" the single customer (an employee of another airport store) find a lipglass. Ridiculous. They were unconcerned that they were out of stock on all pressed compacts C5 and below and out of another lipglass color I tried and asked to purchase. I did buy a concealer and the employee was eventually helpful in finding the right one. Employees need service skill training. read more

My customer service experience was very short and limited. I walked in the store, not knowing it was after hours. As I'm walking thru the store, one of the employees started talking under their breath while looking at me to another employee. As I got closer the employee said, we're closed. Thing is, that is all the employee had to say from jump. The whispering, was being EXTRA and unprofessional. This was term A. read more

Not specified that you can't make returns in store. Not specified you can't make returns on an open unused product. Rude customer service. I really do NOT recommend shopping here at all. Just wait to find a real Mac store at a mall. read more

this is a review for the store on concpurse A : I had just stepped off a long flight and had a two hour layover in Atlanta. I had just freshened up my makeup in the bathroom thinking how ragged I looked after the long flight. To my delight I stepped into the A concourse and saw a Mac store. I walked right in with the intentions of buying a new under-eye concealer, a new lipstick, and some contouring supplies. First, I was not greeted by a single employee when I walked into the store. Every other time I have gone into a Mac store the employees greet you almost right away. Two of them were not busy, and one of them was working on the makeup of a customer. No big deal, I set out shopping for concealer. The woman who was doing makeup on a customer was on the right side of her chair and while I was looking at concealer she attempted to move to the other side of the chair. I was so busy looking at concealer that I didn't notice her trying to move around me. She extremely rudely yelled excuse me very loudly. Now I had one headphones in, so it is possible she thought that I was listening to music, but the tone of her voice was anything but friendly. She said it in an extremely annoyed and rude fashion. I very politely said oh I'm sorry and moved out of the way. She rolled her eyes and kept working on the woman's makeup. I'm assuming that because I had headphones in, even though I didn't have any music on, she thought that I couldn't hear her, so she then went on to complain to the customer about me, while I was standing within 2 feet of them. She said " people are so stupid. They don't even pay attention to what's around them. She's just off in her own world not even caring that she's in the way." To which the customer replied "I know right". Then she went on to say "that's that white girl privilege for you. Always thinking they own the world and not giving a shit about anybody else". I stood there in absolute disbelief. She continued to bash me to the customer, making fun of my makeup and attire. I left with tears in my eyes completely taken aback by such horrible treatment toward a (would be) paying customer. I shop Mac regularly, its my favorite makeup. But after this I don't see myself ever stepping foot in a Mac store again. read more

Rhonda who works at MAC on concourse F was so awesome and took the time to help me find the right shades of blush, lip liner and lip glass. If you are in the ATL airport and need a refresh, I highly recommend you go see Rhonda. Love her. read more

I'm not sure if it's the airport location or what but the customer service at this location stinks. I work in the airport & decided 2 go try sum lipsticks on my break. I can't remember who ended up helping me on this particular day but she had MAJOR attitude. It seemed as if she would rather hav been sumwhere else. Even tho her service was sub-pat I made the $35 purchase. I ended up purchasing the wrong lip liner, never used it & went 2 exchange 4 the correct 1 & was told they do not do returns or exchanges. So 2day I decided 2 go & purchase the correct liner & just take care of the exchange @ an off-site location. There were 2 ladies working. When I stated that I was there 4 lip liner Erica Means pointed 2 where they were & went bak 2 applying her own make-up n the mirror w/the other young lady that was there. I made my purchase & instead of her reading the number from my employee badge she asked me rudely 2 read it 2 her. I was taken aback by how horrible the customer svc is here considering what I receive off-site @ other MAC counters. It seems as if the whole airport concessions staff needs customer service training. I will not shop here again. read more

This place sells faulty products!! I have been using Mac cosmetics and brushes for years. Purchased one here in an emergency and when I used it it shed all over me. When I tried to return or exchange it, the attendant informed me I was using the Brush incorrectly, all brushes shed, he has Chanel brushes that shed, and a myriad of other condescending and inaccurate reasons why they wouldn't take the brush back. This was all without looking at the brush to see if something might be wrong with it. In all of my years I have never had such horrible customer service at a Mac store. Thankfully this little bootleg shop is not representative of the other stores I've visited. Steer clear of this Mac- they are part of the Hudson shops in the airport so they probably get product rejects. read more

Concourse A store is ridiculous. Today was my second stop in here within 3 weeks. Both times I had to wait for help and today one girl was killing herself helping customers and 2 stood around talking. Both times I picked 2 products to purchase and both times the items were not in stock. Not stopping in again. Maybe I will try the one in F next time. read more
