I can't believe that no one has reviewed Vespa Madison, also known as Dunn's Import Inc. So, it…read morelooks like I will have to tell all of you how fantastic it is. In Madison on a vacation, I was pleased to have passed by this small Vespa dealership on a Sunday - sad it was a Sunday because it was closed. I patiently waited until Monday to pay them a little visit. Doh- closed on Monday but the owner, Jeff Dunn was in and he let me in to shop anyway. Now, I'm not a rule breaker, I would have gladly waited until Tuesday but when he said he would help me, I took him up on his offer. I made it clear that he wasn't going to make any money off me because I already have a new scoot and I'm just looking for gear. It made no difference to him how much I was going to spend. He was really outgoing and friendly and it appeared that he truly loves his job. We quickly found what we were looking for and made our purchases. Jeff took lots of time to talk with us about the local scoot scene in Madison and was happy to share information about the rules of the road, etc. We felt very much at home and very much welcome in his shop, even if we weren't spending a bunch of cash. The shop is located in what appears to have been a residence at one time. It's been converted into a hip showroom complete with an espresso maker and a patio table outdoors. The showroom is small but very complete. Dunn's has enough gear to please any Vespa aficionado. When we visited, they had fabulous sale items. Vespa Madison/Dunn's gets the coveted 5 star rating from me. Great service, friendly people, great inventory - what else do you need? When in the market for a new scoot, it would be highly likely that I would travel from Lincoln, Nebraska to Madison just to buy a scoot from Jeff.

After searching the region for just the right bike to fit my taste and my petite size, Jeremy went out of his way to make sure I got the perfect V7 III to upgrade from my sad Buell Blast. Jeremy is extremely knowledgable about the Moto Guzzi line, and provided me with more information than I could ever need when I took delivery of my new V7 III. My first two rides of the season have been quite exciting, and I can't wait for future adventures on this beautiful bike.

I started doing research, and settled on a dual sport bike so I could ride with my son on our property, but also tool around the bluffs out in the driftless. Trail riding and some commuting is on my agenda too. I went to 4 dealerships looking for the ideal bike. BMW, Royal enfield, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, etc. Travis at Mad City Powersports knew exactly what I was looking for after casually speaking for a few minutes. He guided me through the process, showed me several options, and I settled on a Kawasaki KLX300. It's just enough bike capability wise to be entertaining on and off road. The sales process was easy, Travis called me when it arrived, made an appointment, and explained all about it. Zero pressure. It is clear that Travis is passionate and knowledgeable about dirt and street bikes. The store itself is well laid out, with lots of accessories. After I purchased the bike, I noticed that the Kawasaki website listed $400 in savings. I called Travis, who looks into it for me and concurred that I was due $400. I suggested putting it on a gift card. Travis went out of his way to drop it off at my business. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a motorcycle, 4 wheeler, snowmobile, utv, boat, etc.

The service department not good at all over the past month brought in for a new belt. Was told the clutch was bad found the water pump was leaking so under warranty they fixed took them 3 weeks and than returned it to me like the photo below. Took it back to them got the response that they had to put new hose clamps on. Tested fine so they gave me it back 2 days later same thing so back up there again now was told it's leaking at another fitting and will be Friday till the parts come in. So out of a month I've had it for 3 days able to drive it once. I would not recommend going to this place anymore as they don't communicate unless you call or go there. And there service has went down hill

Then I needed a part and it took 4 more months. The part came in, they started to work on my Moto and suddenly I need a new engine costing$6000. The Moto only had 600 miles. Like brand new. The initial diagnosis was wrong. Charged me $400 for diagnosis and gave me my machine back in pieces. The work order made no sense. The employees that made initial dx had already left or been fired. They made no effort to make me whole. Certainly being a women didn't help. Maybe they should decrease their ridiculous inventory and get some good employees. I was very disappointed and will go anywhere but there in the future.

I would suggest calling and checking before you drive out, or if you just wanna shop and kill time they have plenty to look at and ponder, even cool vintage, classic stuff. This place has so so so much to offer, but you have to know your parts or what will work for you because it can seem very over whelming with all the products and sizes and how to put them on your bike etc. I would suggest bringing someone who knows so you don't feel like I did or do your homework and know exactly what you need or can use. After talking with a couple of other customers in the store they both told me the prices here have gone up too much. It was my first time here so I had no past experiences here to compare. If you buy the wrong thing and want to bring it back the lady at check out said you can get store credit but clarify every thing for yourself. Some of the products they carry compared to the internet can be lower priced and some not so much.
