We were a party of six and were surprised that our first dishes came out only about five minutes after we ordered. I ordered a tuna steak ala plancha. It was a very large, nicely cooked tuna steak with a parsley sauce. It was accompanied by a potato cake held together with a custard. There was a similar zucchini called and a roasted tomato. My wife had the salad nicoise and reported that it was quite nice and was generously loaded with tuna and other deliverable bits. The lettuce was very fresh and quite tasty. One of our friends ordered the tapas board for one which turned out to be 8 tapas including deep fried Camembert, calimari, duck gizzards, chorizo, etc. He reported that it was all delicious and made a full meal for one. The bill with two bottles of wine (split 6 ways) was about 45 Euros per couple. So generous quantities of good food at a good price.

My tapas was composed of jambon cru, battered courgette and calamari, sausage in tomato and three different cheeses in breadcrumbs deep fried. Too much fromage! My friend had Spaghetti Cabonara which was a hearty man sized serve, in fact it would have been a meal for 2. I was assured the flavour was fine. I had a pizza from the wood fired oven, which was delicious except for a large amount of yet more cheese. A bottle of rosé accompanied the meal. The waiter was very pleasant and food arrived without too much waiting around. Costs are modest for the huge serves.
