Løvenvold Cinema is not the most modern cinema in Ålesund, but the closest center. Only one cinema hall showing three to four films most days.
Løvenvold building was designed by architect Øyvind Grimnes and is specially designed for cinema right from the start. The house was build in 1921 and reported was ready two years. The special ornamentation in the theater was performed by Icelander Paul Arnsteinsson and displays the saga of Wild Man and Magnhild. read more
